When I couldn’t envision pursuing this path as a sonic storyteller, there was Aureliana —my “fairy” godmother (ibaé). Aureliana, a devoted practitioner of Santería in Cuba, told me that one day, I would work with music in ways I could never have imagined. The early-20s, classically trained musician-in-denial me didn't believe a thing, only to see it all manifest in this present.

These sets at the Lot Radio and for Wax Poetics remind me that although our future is uncertain, our destiny, somehow, is written. They say serendipity does exist, and I certainly believe them. Thanks for listening!
