WAXPANEL, a Christian alternative/modern grunge band, from San Antonio, Texas that was originally conceived in July of 2008. Current members; Micah Lindner (vocals/guitar), Fletch (bass), and Steve Boldway (drums) make music that blends their faith in Christ, life experience, to create their music.

With the release of their new EP, "Beginnings" (July 2016), an almost two year journey, which included the work of some very talented people, has come to an end. Producer David Castell, whose resume includes Blue October, Toadies, and Deep Blue Something, was there from the start. The first two singles, ‘Believe’ and ‘Dying Inside’, were recorded at The Fathom Tree Recording Studio, in Austin, Texas and engineered by Eric Holtz. After some time the band made its way to Empire Sound Studio, in Dallas, Texas to finish recording the album with Alex Gerst and Castell at the helm.

In January of 2017, the band traveled to Westfall Recording Company in Austin. WAXPANEL teamed up with Producer Anthony Santo, to complete their first album of 12 songs. Their debut "For Those Left Standing," was released worldwide via Pavement Entertainment on 2/22/19.

WAXPANEL’s preceding discography includes ‘Absolution’ with Stuart Sullivan (Meat Puppets, Sublime, Jimmy Vaughn), and the self-titled first release recorded by Clifton Miles and Evan Warren at Dead Room Recording Studio in San Antonio, Texas.

We are now brefugees, living in brexile very near the border of the Czech Republic, Austria and Germany. If you live in (the crumbling remains of) the uk, do yourself a favour and leave. The upgrade in life quality will blow your mind.

* What do we stand for as a label?

We support all independent musicians who are doing something we find interesting. Our team members all have formal music education qualifications.

We are against corporate brainwash muzak, their puppet friends in the mass media, and many other corporate activities. We will fight their desecration of music until either it stops or we die. 

We believe in helping others in the face of corrupt laws and a broken system. We are pro democracy, green energy and free speech.

We're politically liberal. We cannot support the republicans, maga or gun violence in the usa. We don't see there's any real difference, other than in name, between the christian far right in the USA and the taliban in Afghanistan.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.
