Kicking things off is one of our nearest and dearest and a true gentleman of Melbourne Techno, Ranjit Nijjer. 
 
With nearly fifteen years involvement in Melbourne’s underground techno scene, Ranjit can lay claim to contributing to a few special moments in its history. Best known to many as the man behind iconic club night Technoir, Ranjit is also a regular at other Melbourne Techno insitutions including Machine and Melbourne Techno Collective. 

Not only is he a gentleman and a scholar, Ranjit is also a deeply considered sound theorist. With the ultimate precision, he gets inside the music and somehow unpacks it; you can hear this in his mix as a DJ and in his production as an artist.

Nemanja Mitrovic' interest in electronic music was slowly emerging through out 90s, with tapes, records, and general interest for the alternative culture, but it was in 1995. when his official entry into rave culture happened, and going thru clubs and raves and the whole electronic music culture he was behind decks as a dj in year 2000.

In 2003. The Concrete Djz crew was officially formed with his peers at the time, which left a huge mark for the following works under that groupation' name. First vinyl release as a part of that crew was published in 2006. Between that period he also heavily supported and been a part in event organisations in Belgrade, promoting underground Techno, and hosting scene names from around the world. In the period 2003-2008. he has written music releases reviews for local printed magazine Urban Bug.

Involved in studio activities since 1999 ,and has released his productions on various labels under different pseudonims. In 2007 he formed Armatura Records as an outlet for his vision of Techno. Since 2008 works as radio host for Beton Podcast. As a DJ, has played at some of the most influential events in Serbia, he as well DJ-ed around the globe in countries of Brazil, England, Bulgaria, Turkey, Macedonia, Montenegro and Croatia.

Currently working in Audioworkshop studio as mastering engineer and is managing Edit: Tehno events in Serbia. To this day active in producing music for Concrete Djz, as well as his other projects, Mudrost and Non-Linear.

Helloo!

It's been a long time, and quiet at that from my end. Just having a fallow spell and/or mojo lull (depending on the day :), managing my mind and health (or not - ditto ;), musing and meandering and mimimalising... And while that's great / necessary (! :), I've found it a little unsettling to have this subside into dormancy... So it's fortunate that, in my inactivity, I've amassed a minor backlog of sets to upload - something fresh, however aged :D

Mike McClure aka Autokinetic has been performing live electronic music since the earliest days of the Minneapolis rave scene. Coming up alongside acts like Freddy Fresh, Woody McBride, and DVS1, his approach to electronic music is unmistakably informed by his long involvement in Minneapolis techno culture. Earlier in his career, Autokinetic produced hard, 909-driven acid and now focuses on deeper, more spacious techno grooves. His full-hardware live performances have an unmistakable after-hours feel that is true to his roots.

Autokinetic's recorded material is often captured in one take, keeping the real-time and human aspects of the music intact. McClure also performs as AutoClub with Craig Lambert (Midnight Music Club). You can find his music on Mistress Recordings, Fixed Rhythms, Electric Music Foundation, Trope Recordings, and Music Man, as well as an imprint co-managed with Freddy Fresh, Analog Records.
