We are delighted to welcome back German duo Add-Us with their brand-new 'Phases EP'. The talented duo has been a well-known entity within the scene and have graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with their unique and lasting productions. The duo developed an inimitable style of music, full of ambiances, paired with despondent and warm dreamy patterns that guided them to where they are to today and embodies the sound they now personify. People regularly equate their productions as remarkable and flamboyant in equal measures. 
 
On their return the duo leads with the outstanding opening track 'Phases'; a stunning driving melodic techno affair. The track utilizes a deep groove as foundation, underpinned by a profound bass and smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a relentless kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction. Clever synth phrases complete the picture to create an ingeniously worked piece of art.

The melodic soundscapes of the accompanying title track 'Light the Way' rounds off this spectacular release. Add-Us' influences are immediately evident as subtle freeform concepts drift through percussive inspired instrumentations. Rippling melodies trip along a deep kick that anchors an auricular montage to create a special sonic infused moment, complemented by a subtle groove that is going to leave a mark on your aural perception. The new Intec release is from Russian born and NYC based Boris who has featured on imprints such as Tronic, Toolroom, Suara, SCI+TEC, Phobiq, Terminal M, and his own label Transmit Recordings.

Boris made his first solo release on Intec in 2017 and this much anticipated follow up is nothing less than exceptional.

Having been a resident at nearly every major club in his home city of New York, including venues like Pacha, Crobar, and Roxy, Boris has also travelled the world playing headline DJ sets everywhere from Japan to Ibiza, and with a busy schedule this release showcases why he is in such constant high demand.

First on the release is the rolling groove of Jump Around which has a fusion of fast flowing percussion and chanting vocal phrases. Up-tempo and packed with energy, this techno track has tribal elements perfect for peak time DJ sets.

Raw Silk is second on the release with thundering percussion and the ominous loom of a dark and commanding vocal, which adds intensity to the track's already ferocious groove. Hard hitting and taking no prisoners, this dancefloor focused techno monster is tailor made for club sound systems.

Finishing things off is What U Gonna Do and its combination of stabbing synths, grinding bass tones and screaming female vocals. Chunky and funky, this has a great party vibe blended with a shadowy atmosphere which builds invigorating tension as the track develops.
