Returning to Purified Records with a powerful and emotive cut, South African producer Jono Stephenson delivers ‘Midnight Sun’ Ft. Australian vocalist Haptic. Diving into a progressive soundscape with captivating synth work and rumbling bass, this striking arrangement is juxtaposed with Haptic’s serene vocals, exuding a deep and poignant atmosphere.The ‘Midnight Sun’ artwork features a beautiful underwater shot, captured by Daniel Nicholson. The ocean covers over 70% of the Earth's surface, making it the largest continuous ecosystem on the planet. Its total area is approximately 361 million square kilometers (139 million square miles). Phytoplankton, microscopic marine plants found near the ocean's surface, are responsible for producing about half of the world's oxygen through photosynthesis. This makes the ocean a critical component of the Earth's oxygen cycle, vital for supporting life on land. The ocean appears blue due to the selective absorption and scattering of sunlight. Water molecules absorb longer wavelengths of light, such as red and orange, while shorter blue wavelengths are scattered, giving the ocean its characteristic blue color.
Located on the Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, Daniel Nicholson is one of the globe’s most prominent professional underwater photographers. He seeks to share the beauty and magic of the underwater world to inspire conservation and change.

Following a memorable return to the fore with Roman Kyn's "Exploding Sunsets", ICONYC's dynamic evolution continues with the incorporation of Clér Letiv's double track EP, "The Breach". Theatrical and compelling, the Argentine producer/vocalist opens up with two narrative-driven cuts that feel sensually intimate as he explores the introspective halls of his own device.

In "Breach", a throbbing earworm of a bassline treads through a gorgeous cascade of sonic embers that hangs suspended high up in the skies as Clér Letiv crafts one storming groove. With thunderous snares and hard synth stabs resonating up in the clouds, the Argentine wunderkind unleashes a bright neon synthetic arrangement that glides over velvet-laced pads as it drives the piece into a breathtaking breakdown where Clér's emotional vocal delivery breathes like an open wound. With its core completely exposed, "Breach" performs one last orchestral maneuver in the dark before the final act falls under the red curtains.

Tougher, "The Surface" showcases a different side to the reclusive producer. Surging over a powerful low-end and an impervious sense of urgency, Clér Letiv's second delivery is a gargantuan centerpiece that contorts in unpredictable fashion. With its foundations in place "The Surface" first leaves its mark with some monumental synthwork before Letiv's haunting, yet entrancing vocals step beneath the limelight to tell a timeless tale of sorrow and loss. Big and bold, "The Surface" expertly balances emotional finesse with unbridled will as it adds another dimension to Clér's expanding catalog.

PREMIERE: Sintra, Luch, Landon Ryle - Brighter Days (Extended Mix) [Purified Records]

With the highly creative new single 'Tenacity' we welcome Australian debutant Amuze to the label. His debut single has lit up dance floors worldwide since it's limited promo release. 'Tenacity' is very unique; a track that is dynamic, groovy, deep and hypnotic which perfectly turns any kind of club or open-air festival into pandemonium. Whether it's the deeply delicious uplifting melodies and dramatic strings of 'Tenacity', there can be no denying that Amuze truly delivered a club monster for the ages. His distinctive style and attention to detail marks him out as having unique creative talent. 

For the official full-length release, we are treated to stunning reworks from sound kings Movement Machina and label alumni Formel who return to the label after their recent successful Funchal EP. The Movement Machina Remix is a driven chunky gem that beautifully builds, as warm pads raise the temperature and tease with melodies from the original and some clever FX cutting up, making this a serious dance floor moment, in true Movement Machina style, confirming that he really can't do no wrong at the moment by delivering another stunning rework. Hot!

The second rework comes from Dutch favorites Formel which sounds like it's been made specifically to close sets and send the dance floor in to a complete frenzy. Fantastic is a good word to describe their remix. Formel who are known for his melodic, progressive take on house deliver a true gem that finds the right balance between house and techno to make it an ideal all-round weapon. There's really not much else to say, we'll just let the music do the talking. Amuze – 'Tenacity' sees a worldwide release on September, 2019. Not to be missed!

The long awaited, highly anticipated, welcoming back for his debut solo release with us, once of the most exciting up and coming artists in Australia, Boy With Boat. Delivering his three-track melodic masterpiece of an EP titled Substance, accompanied by a remix from our own Amuze.

The different records, Substance, The Array and VX, all of which bring you the style and vibe this young lads bring to the table.

Personally, writing this was a leg-stretching, sound solidifying and very special process for him - ranging from fairly dance-floor centred grooves, to heavier melodic elements and driving synthesis.

Amuze has put together his own impression of VX, combining all the elements given to him as well as his own unique twist within the composition. His balance and clarity to strip back the original has done wonders as he delivers another stellar rendition to one of our releases.
