Kursat Gencel aka Cure-Shot was born in 1977 and as any 90's clubgoer in Istanbul agrees, he has been rocking the decks ever since 1990! Him and his older brother Tangun were the very first ones that built the house scene in Istanbul beginning from early 90's and they considered the true pioneers as well as first generation house DJs who had brought the sound of  Chicago, Detroit and New York to far east side of Europe, to the clueless city named Istanbul and influenced so many DJs. He didn't only DJ also involved with managing/running many remarkable clubs and venues as well as throwing underground parties in Istanbul over 20 years..

The depths of Keena Maya's sound are incantations, drawing us down into our roots, grounding us into our bodies, and invoking the incandescent deity within us to rise. She is a sound artist, DJ, producer, and instrumentalist. Her global #BASSBLISS sets revel in the low-end, an organic electronic transmission for heart expansion via the dance floor.  
 
She is one-half of  @being-sound - with her partner @Joro-Boro. Together they perform live #RitualBass.  She is a member of @BAEsound , a feminine powered mindful music collective, a resident of @ecstaticdancenyc, and a contributor to the global Ecstatic Dance community.  

Keena Maya is from Brooklyn and now resides in Hudson, New York, She has performed at  venues like House of Yes,  Knockdown Center, The Sultan Room, The Good Room, Judson Memorial Church, Basilica, PS21, and festivals like Dance Beyond Campout, Dance Medicine Campout, and Impulse Festival.
