Amit Kedem has been active as a DJ and producer in Tel Aviv’s underground scene since 2017, focusing mostly on house music. He has a weekly residency at the Hive club, one of the most vibrant venues in the city. 
In 2020, he released two EP's on YSR records based in Berlin, the most recent being “Bring The Fun Back”. Even with the pandemic forcing club music out of their physical spaces, Amit has continued to brainstorm ideas for his production line “Discolor”, hosting international artists on their podcast series through SoundCloud. They look forward to making parties in the upcoming year as bars/clubs begin to reopen. 

This mix is representative of Amit’s style, combining deep, melodic and House inspired elements to tell a personal story. He opens the mix by dropping an original forthcoming track in collaboration with Uriah Klapter.

Minestrone is a Music lover and a passionate dj/producer from Ukraine. He was born on June 8, 1991 in the city of Boryslav.  currently located in Bologna, Italy.

Carlo & Baloo follow with 'Best Maldito', a track bursting with an infectious rhythm. Intr0beatz’s 'Where The Party At' delves into ambient depth with rippling synths. Marina Trench delivers 'Because We', featuring a playful piano melody and upbeat energy that pushes boundaries with its lively touch.

Caleb Jackson’s 'The Partylife' fuses high energy, gospel influences, and an acidic bassline. Tatie Dee & Ams contribute 'Underwater', a futuristic, bubbly piece with progressive elements. Emanuele Barilli’s 'Midnight Forty' takes us back to the 90s with a trance-infused, breakbeat house sound that resonates with nostalgia. 'Summer Ending' by Horsemen brings a jazz-swing groove paired with a deep, thumping bassline, perfectly capturing the wistful end-of-summer mood. Party Club Dance 2024 - Best Remixes Of Popular Songs EDM 1794

What a damned year. No matter our particular angles or perspective, we can all at least agree on that much. “Unprecedented” in a two-way tie with the shrugging emoji for word of the year. A few highs and glimpses of empowerment, and several lows and mind-boggling low blows to contend with - obstacles masking opportunities, some moments of reflection and time gained, while many other things felt lost. 

One of the more remarkable aspects of 2020 was the sheer number of musical heroes and greats that have left this physical plane within the space of one year. Forces of huge influence, not only for myself but for countless individuals, music scenes, and artists from multiple generations. 

With this in mind for the annual wrap-up edition of the Greasy Listening mix series this year, while there was/is loads of amazing new and upcoming music to be shared and heard, it only feels just to pay respects and homage in memoriam to these many wondrous souls who poured themselves into their work over the last five plus decades, so we can forever be inspired and mesmerized by their greatness. 

While the selections may not be the most iconic/popular/rare or whatnot of each artist’s work, they are simply a few of my personal faves that fit the mix and are meant more as drop-in-the-bucket representatives of the incredibly extensive bodies of work that have been immortalized by these mighty creators (that also come highly recommended you dive into if haven't already).

So here it is: twenty pieces with timeless musical messages by twenty absolute legends that passed on in this most turbulent year of 2020. To the fallen stars, included in the set and not, Rest In Paradise - we offer our sincerest love and condolences to the families, and endless gratitude for the creative guiding light and healing power their music will forever bring us. Our series does not stop and we are delighted to host an artist who is the pioneer of a genre. Pioneer of a completely new dance, for what were the notes to accompany it, the protagonists of the rhythm, the social context, the scenarios. It was 1987 when the British Nancy Noise, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Rampling, Nicky Holloway, Johnny Walker and company gathered on the same island to dance to the same revolutionary music. They called it Balearic Beat but no one has ever really managed to give a definition to that sound that was proposed every summer by Alfredo Fiorito, and our host Leo Mas, Dj Cesar De Melero, Dj Pippi, Dj Nelo, ... What was sure is that back in London, they couldn't stop talking about it. Of its majestic dawns, of great parties, of Amnesia, of Ku and of Glory's, of pure hedonism, of its colors. Between 1987 and 1988, Ibiza was the hippest thing in Europe. In this regard, Josè Padilla expressed himself: "the hippie spirit is basic because it is inspired by the simplest values to which the natural instinct introduces us, such as the open air, the moon, the stars, dance and good music: the island of Ibiza is summed up in all this ”. It is this essence that gave the name of "Second Summer of Love" to that magical summer of 1988, heir to that of San Francisco dated 1967, when the young American generation decided to rebel against the conflict in Vietnam through peace, love and music.
