Welcome back to the December edition of the Gated podcast!
We're super happy to welcome Feryne this month, with a delicious set of varied tunes from the electro/acid/idm/techno realms.
A self-admitted music freak, Feryne has mixed her fave electro, idm and techno tracks since 2005. She's played at the many clubs and festivals of Hungary (Kontra, Wndrlnd, Corvintető, Müszi, Kuplung, R33, Egál, S.U.N festival, Ozora ect...) and other countries, like Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, France and of course the Netherlands (Drift Festival, Het Nest Festival, ADE etc).
She is currently based in Nijmegen (NL) and is also a resident DJ at
Nijmegen’s very own Open Source Radio.

We also have some new bits to start from Gated and a class release from Featherstone too from his recent EP for the Ernest's way label.

Este EM se dirige al sesgo tecnológico, a un instrumento que fue un antes y un después de todo cuanto conocemos, a su necesidad de creación, repercusión, y de esos pequeños detalles de tan magna efemérides.

Muchas han sido las líneas de batería que han bebido de este oscilador, de ese bass drum, de esa caja y sobre todo y ante todo de eso Groove de secuenciador que hasta ese momento era simplemente inexistente. Hacemos hincapie en los géneros que generó, en el estándar que protocalizó, en la camada de músicas que fundó y en tantas cosas como se nos pasan por la cabeza mientras hacemos radio, como siempre. Estamos ante el electromagnética con el zoom más IN de todos los que se han hecho: No es un estilo, no es una corriente, no es un músico; es “solo” un instrumento.
