Domenico Ventura, aka @dayventurasaffairs, is virtuously making his debut on the Italian electronic music scene from a meticulous study of all that has gone before. Originally from the seaside town of Trani, Italy, his musical journey began with the influence of his father's 80s electronic music.
 This early exposure laid the foundation for his intricate exploration of various genres, including Funk, Hip Hop, Metal, Punk, Chicago House, New Wave and Techno.
This eclectic mix of influences defines the distinctive sound of DayVentura, which has already reached several dancefloors in Italy, such as in Milan (BASE, Apollo Club, Superlove, Super Club) already being hosted twice by Le Cannibale, Turin (Bunker), in Veneto (Vinile Club, Loco Club) and others among Marche and Puglia, up to the european decks of Arkaoda in Berlin with Slow Motion Records in the format Memory Dance. On some of these dates he had the opportunity to share the decks with Franz Scala, Gabriele Casiraghi, Hercules & Love Affair, Sick Seek, Italo Brutalo, Modular Project, Bottin, Dov'E' Liana  and many others.
Over the years, with the participation of other members, he built Insert Coin: an event reality that brings not only music, but also all the Italian and North-European imagery 80s translated visually and sensorially into an 8-bit video game to clubs.
In 2023, he was hosted by Boudoir Moderne and Low Profile Radio (respectively French and Argentinian radios) for a guest mix. On Low Profile Radio the invitation came from the underground community Fusion Dance, based in Buenos Aires.
In september of the same year he also began his journey into music production with the project in collaboration with the Argentinian dj Mystery Friend: "The Meld Network" aims to give a more modern and techno-inspired sound to Italo Disco productions and related musical influences from the 80s-early 90s period.
 The first release was 'Protocol Modern Surgery Edits I', a 14-track album (12 edits of dated tracks and 2 own productions). 
Since November 2023 he has been engaged in the production of a new album with Marta Paradise the Apulian duo that already boasts a release on Maledetta Discoteca.
His music blends elements of Italo Disco, Synthpop, Electro, EBM, New Beat, and Techno, resulting in a hypnotic journey through the realms of synthesized elegance and the raw power of retro drum machines, displaying a deep appreciation for sonic diversity and a commitment to creating immersive experiences.
His DJ sets are characterized by a sensual yet powerful sound that creates a captivating and electrifying atmosphere.

Starting with laid-back groovy rhythms at 120 BPM that allow for easing into a set early in the evening. This first part is heavily influenced by South American artists and labels, such as Ademarr, Theus Mago, and Tierra de Ovnis. The set evolves in the final part towards more club-oriented tracks, evoking late-night vibes and higher BPMs.

Zaatar is an artist originally from Morocco, based in France, who has stood out since the beginning of her career for her unique sound signature. She carves her own path by delicately blending her Moroccan heritage with influences from EBM, New Beat, and Trance. Quickly becoming a force in the Body Music scene, Zaatar has built a reputation both as a prolific producer and a captivating DJ. Discovered on Ritmo Fatale with her powerful track "Abiad Al Layali," she released her first EP on the highly respected label Dischi Autunno.

Alongside recognized artists in the scene, she has already performed at the legendary Fuse club in Brussels, Gaïté Lyrique in Paris, Macadam in Nantes, Le Sucre in Lyon, Else and Renate in Berlin, as well as for Astropolis, Positive Education, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.

With her authentic and unconventional approach, Zaatar skillfully
multiplies her influences, breaking free from any stylistic or genre
barriers. She thus creates her own sonic landscape, characterized by captivating rhythms often accompanied by melancholic melodies.

A la fois DJ captivante et productrice prolifique, l’artiste se libère des barrières stylistiques,  créant son propre paysage sonore, à travers des rythmes hypnotiques ou  entraînants et souvent accompagné de mélodies mélancoliques. Pour Technopol elle signe un podcast entre techno mentale hypnotisante, contrebalancée par une bonne dose d’EBM dark. Un mélange délicat et rare qu’elle souhaiterait démocratiser à travers cette sélection.

BIO
Neu-Romancer is the solo venture of Berlin based, Australian musician, producer & DJ Laura Bailey.

Live, in the booth and within her productions, she entangles sounds of nostalgia and futurism to fuel euphoric moments that transcend time and space on the dance floor.

Beginning musical life as a bassist within numerous psyche rock, punk and indie projects in Australia, she quickly gained acclaim as a songwriter before experiencing the European scene, opening her ears to 80s darkwave and Italo-influenced dance music. 

After releasing her revered 2023 debut EP 'Neue Romantika’, track 3 ‘Superposition’ was selected as KEXP’s song of the day where they wrote it “recalls early Depeche mode classic with its dark, danceable rhythm.” The EP would go on to instill itself as a mainstay within Berlin’s Italo Disco and New Wave revival, sparking off collaborations with the likes of EBM-New-Beat industrial legends Randolph and Mortimer, Fleisch label head Zanias and Slow Motion Records affiliate Radondo.

She further unfolded her unique sound, a blend of 80s darkwave and Italo-influenced dance music, contributing to the Eskimo Recordings compilation ‘Next Wave Acid Punc DEUX’ with her song ‘Burning Eyes’ celebrated as a “Cowbell heavy Hi-NRG romp” by The Electricity Club and “Through it All” for ‘KEYI Magazines charity compilation ‘Sonic Reflections’. As a remixer, she has reimagined tracks from Joon, Local Suicide, Skelesys, Korine and Madd Rodd, releasing on the legendary Italians Do It Better and Greco-German powerhouse Iptamenos Discos. 

She has toured extensively throughout Europe, the UK, Canada and South America, playing bass live for ZANIAS, playing the likes of ‘Grauzone Festival’ in The Hague and ‘Cruel World Festival’ in Pasadena. 

As a DJ, her sets have lit up the world’s most respected clubs, radio shows and festivals, from 'Bite Nite' at 'Berghain’s' 'Panorama Bar' to Berlin’s 'Atonal Festival' at the legendary 'Tresor', 'Fusion Festival', Paris’s ‘La Machine du Moulin Rouge’ and New York’s 'The Lot Radio'. 

With a desire to interlink the metaphysical with the physical, Neu-Romancer is undoubtedly one to watch.
