The weapons of choice are what they have been from teh start semi-operational analog synthesizers, temperamental ,  Tr drum machines and scratchy recording gear all forced into the computer. The name  Lowfish came from the concept of using mostly low quality equipment, the result being a production sound that is low-fi- ish. Since 1995 Lowfish has released 4 full lenght CD's/ Lp's and a stack of 12" singles on labels including Suction, Ersatz Audio, Clone and Satamile. He's remixed for labels including Morr Music, Ghostly International and even the National Film board fo Canada and has released scores of trracks on compilations for respected labels in the UK, Germany, Belgium and the US.

The radio chimed and whirred as a variety of different channels flickered under the glow of the pale moonlight. The car drove through the outback but there was not one station which matched his preferences. He was antipop, a man made of machine with the burning soul of electricity rife within his heart and body. The sound of the engine was all he would need to get him through the night as he flicked the switch and entered the realm of silence. Why would he want to hear such a ghastly noise anyway?

Nonetheless is a duo made up of Vienna based musicians Felix Bergleiter and Florian Bocksrucker. Together they have collaborated to release a new record on the infamous Neubau imprint run by Florian Stöffelbauer aka Heap and Simon Heidemann.

Why are there not more electroclash tracks made these days, you ask yourself? 
Well ask no more because Lunatic Records have dropped a track which comes straight from the most scenesterist of scenes, nasty analogue vibes clash with a killer beat, those distant distorted vocals which allow for just enough disorientation on the dancefloor. 
The EP veers into the industrial techno realm which is fine by us! En Direct's first solo foray into production reminds us of DJ Hell, Tiga, Miss Kittin and all the other classic tracks from between 2001-05 without ever swaying into cliche or pastiche or any other of those French words which as simply a byword for 'Passe'. Lunatic Records 6th release truly is the number of the beast. Do your self a favour, don't be unwilling.

Hailing from Montreal, Canada, M.S.L is the project of Edouard Le & his pal Francis Latreille. After two acclaimed releases on @ModelFuture and dutch label @BAKK-Projects, the duo settles down on Les Yeux Orange with a deep and melodic Electro four tracker. 

The track selected by @DarkScienceElectro to premiere is the persistent track 'Enterprise'. It features classic 808-style beats with some synth-work that creates a fun, familiar feeling vibe throughout the track. This release is available now.

Anyone who’s followed @IvayloOslo ’s musical career to date will know that this is a man who values quality and eclecticism above all else. Raised in Bulgaria but now firmly based in Oslo, the Jaegar resident has really been finding his feet of late, playing alongside some of the scene’s best-known names and consistently putting out expert sounds courtesy of his Bogota label. 2019. However his first solo release of 201 comes at us here courtesy of fellow Oslo dweller Prins Thomas’s always on-point Full Pupp imprint. 

Featuring three classy tracks that explore the producer’s many influences.It’s the dubby, weighty sounds of ‘Syklon’ that get the release underway. Notable for its classy drums and unlikely turn of pace around the halfway point, it’s an innovative track that speaks volumes of Ivaylo’s knack for taking chances—and being greatly rewarded for doing so. Kicking off on a fairly innocuous tip, it morphs into a full-bodied techno workout thanks to some expert synths and an old-school vocal.

The rain hadn't stopped for days, a constant downpour that soaked you through to the bone. People feared to step outside into the open and instead had taken refuge in their houses. Now, little noise could be heard throughout the town except for the consistent pitter patter of raindrops on the corrugated steel roofs. This had become the soundtrack to their days, the beat to which they danced in the confines of their home. Bailando was their only escape from the continuous thrashings of mother nature. 

Mexico-based imprint Duro are gearing up to release their next EP from one of their label mates Tyu. Ransom Note mainstay Bawrut, alongside Tel Aviv producer Niv Ast, take on remixing duties, twisting the punkish drums and melodic synths of 'Bailando' into a peak time track littered with freakish vocal yelps and driving synths.

Aspecto Humano have the chance to present this time the first LP on their own catalogue. The vinyl is in charge of TEMPLEBEAT, Italian group now extinct which moved between EBM and Industrial. The formation created in 1990, is part of the self-named second generation of EBM groups.

Aspecto Humano has rescue this authentic lost treasure from music genre titled: INTERZONE. Originally published on cassette in 1992 by the label, also Italian, Energeia.

Hungarian duo Secret Factory returns to their Secret Fusion imprint for a brand new four-track EP titled 'Hashen Tashen'.

Ahead of its release on September 2, Mixmag has snagged rising Brazilian talent TERR's remix of the fresh underground house offering. A pressing dancefloor affair with frazzled synths and metallic soundscapes, TERR continues to show us why she's one of the year's most promising electronic talents.

Premiere: Secret Factory 'Hashen Tashen' (TERR Remix)

Secret Factory return to their own label with another fresh underground house offering that includes remixes from TERR and MAN2.0. This Hungarian pair is legendary in their homeland having put on Secret Fusion parties there for the last 20 years. Since 2019 they have established their label of the same name with the sort of sounds they play in their tasteful yet experimental house, disco and techno sets. Their first original is ‘Hashen Tashen’, a brilliantly melodic track with rich xylophones and rubbery drums getting you on your toes. Cosmic pads add future vibes and the whole thing is stylishly slick and serene.
First to remix is Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Terr who is making waves on labels like Phantasy Sounds. Her version is an intense affair with driving drums and lasers shooting across the face. It has ping-pong melodies and frazzled synth lasers that all bring raw energy. Then comes London’s MAN2.0, a man who takes cues from 80's synth, EBM and “toy instruments from charity shops” amongst other things. Andrew Weatherall is a fan and will likely appreciate the macho twisted disco of this twisted chugger.
The final hurrah is Secret Factory’s ‘No Garbage Please’, a breezy cosmic house cut with more meticulous melodies and pads. Well treated vocals are another subtlety that ensures this is further winning effort.
This third release yet again proves Secret Fusion is a label as vital as the party it came from.
