In its 4th​ ​installment, JIN, the Taipei, Taiwan-based label, continues its cosmic journey with a set of tracks that simmer between peak-time dance floor and early morning afterhours vibe.

First up see's Bangkok's Siamese Twins mainstay Sunju Hargun, 1/2 of Mogambo, returning to JIN with two A-side tracks. The first, “Chale”, is a modern ode to classic trance that will leave dancefloors from Bangkok to Berlin in ecstasy. His second track-フーイズカサンドラ("Who is Kassandra'') is a post peak-time 7-minute acid bomb that spins and reverberates in every direction.
The B-side features two remixes of “Chale”. First up, (our choice) is Barcelona's wunderkind Marc Piñol, who removes the trance needle and rebuilds the track creating a perfectly dubbed-our cosmic trip between musical galaxies.

After a long process, we managed to get in touch with an Australian four-piece that went by the name of Boxcar from 86-92, producing a lot of music ahead of its time. They've recently started re-issuing their songs with modern producers on remix duty and after asking Romain FX to work on a remix, it was only natural that Fauve Records would work on a limited-edition vinyl-only release with a stellar cast. For this edition, we have asked some of the coolest cats in the game to hand us a remix with their specific touch and an array of bangers came about. Donald's House with a rave house-inspired remix, Fabrizio Mammarella with a more EBM/Italo touch, Jonny Rock with a dubby finger-licking-good take, and of course Romain FX with an intergalactic voyage.

For this striking 7th EP, we are lucky to have Mr. Ho back for another
massive delivery. This time complete with fully versatile house music.
A1 “Burrow” storms out the gate with an acid attack. The spooky
bassline, punchy drums, and acidic atmosphere makes this the complete peak time bomb. Then the EP smoothly roles into the A2, “TCB”. A loopy, repetitive drum pattern that is guaranteed to feature for many on repeat mode. For B1’s “Shoplift” Mr. Ho brings out the melody. This is a feel-good tune featuring an old school jungle-like drum pattern that makes this a great summer outdoor weapon. Finally, Mr. Ho's Klasse Wreck partner in crime Luca Loc azono provides a silkier twist on “Shoplift” for a vinyl only remix.

Up next on Glasgow's Sounds of Lava Lava is local producer Kieran Apter. He's the man at the helm of CB90 Dance Recordings, a label that's been home to the likes of Brain Dancing, Man Power and his own productions which touch on house, techno and acid. Now he brings a slice of the latter to SOLL with 'Begin Again', a hypnotic acid-driven cut carried along by raw, shuffling drum programming and a distorted vocal meditation, which is backed by a remix from another Scottish rising star, Liam Doc.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years since Throne of Blood Recordings began. Originally conceived as a platform to release vinyl singles from NYC legends The Rapture, the label has grown and evolved into a stalwart of leftfield electronic music and a launchpad for some massively influential artists including Daniel Avery and Bicep.
This new yorker label never needed an excuse to celebrate, but hitting this milestone has made us contemplate our place in the world, reflecting on the relationships that have made Throne of Blood such an integral part of our lives and our legacy as an incubator for tomorrow’s most remarkable artists. So we’ve put together a series of anniversary EPs that bring our past and future together on the dance floor.
The first of four releases, Anniversary EP #1 features longtime friend and label collaborator Chloé Thévenin of Parisian powerhouse Lumiere Noire Records, label manager Max Pask in collaboration with Tigersushi mainman Joakim (for the first time since their killer edit of Evan’s Pyramid for Cultures Of Soul), NYC techno mainstay and Bunker affiliate Justin Cudmore, and Liona, a wildly talented producer from Ulaanbaatar.
Four musical points of view with one goal in mind: making people dance. And there’s loads more to come across four EPs dropping this Fall.

The A-side sounds like a late-80s industrial EBM cut but with a strictly new future concept inside of each track, while the b-side goes more Electro eighties weird sounds strong with metallic beats perfect for the adventurous working DJ. Everything with that futuristic touch that surrounds us today in the electronic music scene.

He was quite the contortionist, moving and meandering his way through the crowded room. Thank heavens nobody might be able to see his face amidst the smoke and darkness for they might get the fright of their life at the prospect of his wide eyed gaze and wobbling jaw. 

Things were getting tingly now, he could feel it all over. 

Over there in the corner would be nice, some place out of sight where he would be left to his own devices with little but for the drowning sound of drums and the occasional wobble of the weight beneath. 

This was it, this was what he was after. A good full body gurn, a total eclipse of the senses and chance to wipe the slate clean..

Man Power is your wonderful down to earth DJ. None of that pretentious rubbish, just stick him in a dark room with some loud music and you are good to go. His next release on Nocturne relishes in such sensibilities, a no holds bar dancefloor banger for the troops who like to move.

These days we are back again in the 60s, as the world urgently needs a new peace movement. Therefore we ultimately call everyone to hold their hands together and look into the future», - nothing describes better the message we deeply feel being part of, in the own words of Kito Jempere. For «Let’s Hold Our Hands Together» he already called up the internationally awarded Swedish composer Adam Evald on vocals and the enigmatic Антоха МС on trumpet, backed by Public Possession artist, Eden Burns and our very own, Leonid Lipelis (check his latest 'Function As A Meaning' EP!!!), on the remix duties.

Kito Jempere is the «DJ’s hero» - selector, producer, own orchestra and band conductor (watch Boiler Room from PPF!), who has been delivering quality dance records through decades via DFA, Lo Recordings, Freerange. Proclaimed as the «The King Of Collaborations» by Zweikommasieben, Kito has been working on music with together with Jimi Tenor, Red Snapper, Hard Ton, New Composers and got remixed by Palms Trax, Andras, Ruf Dug, Black Spuma and many more.

PREMIERE : Kito Jempere, Adam Evald, Antoha MC - Let's Hold Our Hands Together (Eden Burns Remix)

An EP of limbo-inducing squelch courtesy of our good friends Latrec aka Andy Bainbridge and Serious Hots, ft. techno flavoured remixes from Bristolian pal Remotif & our very own Matt Cowell & Johnny Aux as The W.C. Enjoy. 

In the furthest reaches of the cosmos, the intergalactic community gathers for the annual Kutika Limbo finals. 

Reigning champion Latrec draws the first straw and the percussion rolls excitedly as he steps up to the pole. Kutika glides lithely under the bar, tentacles wobbling to the acid rhythm. He celebrates his victory as the crowd chants in a glitchy alien dialect. “Kutika-tika-tika-tika!” 

Second in line, Latrec’s younger brother Dub Mix steps up for his first limbo. Shorter and stockier than his brother, we don’t know what to expect from this one. Once again the percussion rolls, the crowd gasps as his squidgy exoskeleton melts before their eyes, reforming on the other side of the bar - ‘blooooop’. The crowd goes wild “Kut-Kut!” 

Next up is The W.C. Events take a strange turn as they forgo the competition, instead they walk to the stage to sweep the band aside, hijacking control of the instruments. Heavy percussive hits twist spacetime with material melting bass throbs. The crowd goes wild as the fabric of reality collapses around them. 

Last but by no means least is Remotif, a techno unit resembling a giant cluster of biceps stands staring at the limbo pole, chaos erupting around him. The tempo of the percussion rises in anticipation and acid thunder roars in the background. Remotif picks up the bar, blinks, and hurls it off into the furthest reaches of the galaxy never to be seen again.
