1st class collaboration coming from Russia in this killer EP by Velax & Fedorovski. Accompanied by amazing remixes by Cannibal Coconuts and Parissior on ESPACIO CIELO!

 Velax is a music producer from Surgut, Russia. He started making electronic music in 2014, experimenting under various pseudonyms for several years, during this time he manages to become famous in his country, but is still in search of his own style. After 6 years, he finds himself in Dark Disco.
His music sets cosmic & space atmospheres along dark elements that comes influenced by artists like Daft Punk, GusGus & Curses.

Ivan Fedorovski is one of the well known indie-dance producers and DJs in Eastern Europe.  Based in Minsk/Belarus, in 2014 Fedorovski enters as a producer on the top label Lou Lou Records and releases several dance hits and collaborations with Kolombo .

Today, in his productions he experiments with different genres of modern dance electronics,mixing elements from indie-dance , space/dark-disco ,synth wave ,adding various samples from rock , disco and world music.

Isn't it funny how time flies, yet so little has happened? Does this change our conversations from the exhilarating to the downright dull? A constant and predictable loop of "what have you been up to?" and the equally predictable response of "not much". Yet amidst the elongated slumps in front of the television and the all to frequent lie-ins past midday, creative juices have been overflowing from all corners of the globe, and the results continue to speak for themselves...

Berlin's Ombra International, the ever on point label run by Curses and Fritz Galliani, find themselves coming out the other side of lockdown armed with a variety snack pack of music from across the globe. Dubbed as "powerful music in the fringe of all things WAVE", Ombra's 15th release features contributions via Turkey, Mexico, Italy, France and Canada, from Günce Aci, ALF CHAMPION, Daniel Monaco & Futurist, Blaues Einhorn and Robert E. Livingood, respectively. Our pick, from Blaues Einhorn, the new project of FLVN and Mrs. Charlie Lumberjack recorded during a session in Paris, matches low slung moody guitar riffs with commanding vocals that fuse German and French.

With tracks that will impress from start to finish, Pyrame is releasing 4 remixes - on his very own label Thisbe Recordings - of his newest EP: The Pace of Everything that Lives. With Radial Gaze, Days of Being Wild, Local Suicide and Skelesys all chiming in on the tracklist, be prepared for some dark and intense grooving to come out of this one. Combining the elements of disco, rock, industrial, and techno, these pioneering producers all have their unique ways of approaching Pyrame’s passionate themes of relationships, freedom, life, and love.

Next up are the French producers Franz Kirmann and Sam Berdah, behind the Days of Being Wild label, with their remix of The Pace of Everything that Lives. The two have taken this sombre and emotional track and given it a groovy and industrial paint job. Really embracing the oriental elements that Pyrame originally included, yet kicking it up a notch, they’ve almost changed the format completely with distorted mechanical synths that oscillate and vibrate, deciding to continuously layer these over the top of one another. Progressing further into the track, the producers known for creating “slightly deranged club music”, have kept the angelic euphoria from the original, but decided to isolate the voice during the breakdown to give you a taste of the enchanting world from beyond, as it effectively fills the track with a spooky and tension filled aura. A really interesting disco-noir approach to a progressive track.

The Remix EP of The Pace of Everything that Lives is set to be released on both Vinyl and Digital, on October 16th via Thisbe Recordings.

Exhausted Modern builds on his artistic journey with the release of the Year of the Rat remixes EP, a collective reinterpretation that takes the murky, hidden depths of the album to new rhythmic dimensions.

Philipp Otterbach starts off the A-side with a spellbinding composition for the thoughtful, dissolving Pineal Gland into an ethereal cluster of solemn melodies and vocals. Annechoic's take on Apathy Eats You Alive delves into the melodic side of the track, polishing it for the dance floor. Poperttelli draws out T-Maze from dark introspection to beats that waver between a glitch and a heartbeat, with the feeling of having been resuscitated.

The B-Side sees Ayaz putting words to a 180-degree spin on Food of the Gods with hallucinogenic dynamism: a grimy tale of facing the unavoidable. Finally, NVST returns with her Hifive remix of Hard Working Rats, oscillating between heavy and melancholic with soul-permeating resonance.

Taken from the two sonic explorers’ jam sessions in Berlin, these four tracks delve into subaquatic machinery and synaptic oscillations. Intuitive, time-distorting, mind melting improvisations recorded between 2019 and 2020 in Matthias Kanik's (GATS) studio.

For the first time, these soundwaves have been translated into the physical world in the shape of a limited Cassette (K7) pressing, inaugurating the Curuba Tapes series.

The release also features remixes showcasing the label’s diverse and
adventurous sonic palette : equatorian duo Zoroxxe (Joaquin Cornejo & Quixosis) deconstructs Cristal Sirens’ rhythmical intricacies with an abstract footwork reinterpretation, while Curuba co-founder Ditti twists Steppe into a sensible, playfully psychedelic ketapop version. Label heads Psycho Tropiques mash-up several elements from the EP into Cristal Echoes, a two-tempo leftfield club track inspired by dub floating ambiences & jersey club bounces. Parisian artist and label friend Machka closes the release with a beautiful, harmonically rich trip-hop version of Steppe.

With such a collaboration heavy project in the “Yet Another Kito Jempere Album” announced it is no surprise that this following remixes pack comes laden with familiar friends’n’family, plus additional support.   

Taking the ambient meets acappella paene Your Ghost In Me and creating one of his on-point dance floor dramas, Lipelis (Animals Dancing / LIES), utilising Hard Ton’s classic ‘US House’ vocal delivery to create a perfect “big room” anthem.

Next up Born Free boss, Samo DJ (Public Possession / Trilogy Tapes) pumps A King Of Comets with Mood II Swing punch meets Ballistic Brothers riddim’n’culture for some hip-breaks-dancehall swing.   

Cable Toy (Low Budget Family) presents the label favourite with his bouncing, yearning remix of album stand out, Time Traveller.   Countered with a perfect touch of summer vibrations and melancholia this up and coming St Petersburg resident has to be watched.  

Finally, Linja (Avidiya / Malka Tuti) offers a deep, shuffling version of Untitled Ritual.  Arpeggios throb, percussion snaps, tempos shift, planets realign, vocals by Noteless call…wait believing, just we have seen it, God is waiting, nothing can bleeding.
