The four-track EP, radiates a warm, sun-drenched vibe, is out May 12th.

Maybe many of you don't know that my region Emilia-Romagna, Italy, was hit by terrible floods that destroyed lives, houses, changed landscapes and produced billions of damages. What can I do as a musician to give my (little) help in this tragedy? Well, make music. I decided then to put on Bandcamp some edits I made to send all proceeds in charity for my region, starting with this one I did of 'Robotiko Rejekto'. This summer Moderna Y Theus Mago return with their fourth collaboration release ‘Give Chance A Trance’, the four-track EP will be released on Duro Label. The duo have an established history of their
own sound that touches on various genres and this ep is no different, featuring cuts of techno, acid, and dark disco that bring you electrifying sounds, elusive rhythms, and dystopian vibes.
Starting off strong with ‘La Tranca’ an energetic and galloping track with articulate vocals and psychedelic synthesizers that create an atmosphere of trap and invites you to choose your destiny for
the night. Next up is ‘Preset Body’ a chaotic track with an acidic bassline and a booming drum that immerses you in a whirlwind of rotating and twisted synthesizers, with vocals that feel like strobes in the night.
The third track, ‘Give Chance A Trance’ is a rave cut that gives the EP its name. With an incisive drum and reverberating synthesizers, this track has a very clear message: “Tomorrow is the question, Music is the answer”. The path to liberation and freedom.
Finally, the EP closes with ‘The Motion Of Emotions’ a playful and sexy track that lures you in on a journey into the night keeping you glued to the dance floor with “pulsing lights and flashing beats”, it's the perfect time for our worries to fade, “to be free, let go and thrive”.
‘Give Chance A Trance’ by Moderna Y Theus Mago will be available on all platforms June 16th. Enjoy the sound of what could be described as an embodied hallucination rave trip.

After the great success of Italo Brutalo ́s debutalbum „Heartware“ it was quite obvious to let some of the hottest artists around rework some of the songs. 

Kafkactrl, who released some great EPs on Vortex Trax took „You are welcome“ to another – his very own dimension. While the original is quite straight his remix is dominated by electro beats paired with his stunning micro editing. 

„Reach Horizon“ has been remixed by CYRK, who are without any doubts one of the best live acts these days. 

Mufti from Mexico made a very dancefloor-ish remix out of „Dream Machine“, which will be heard at festivals this summer for sure. 

None other than one of the two Slow Motion Label heads, Fabrizio Mammarella, made a great dancefloor version of „Into a sampler“. 

South Korean ́s Shubostar created a great cosmic disco remix of „Heat of the Knight“, that can be played any time in a cool DJ set. 

Last but not least Italo Brutalo ́s longterm friend Kris Menace, who is out of the remixing business and denied requests from the biggest players the past years, turned „Into a Sampler“ into a powerful bass-in- your-face version. 

On top of that all Bungalo Disco created very special analog remixed videos of the original videos to complete the audio-visual remix concept of Heartware.

The EP includes 4 tracks: 2 original versions, including a more downtempo sunday mix. In addition 2 more remixes from legendary mexican producers Zombies in Miami & Future Feelings. Both are original, respecting their own style and vibe. On one side Zombies in Miami has a more bassline driven track ready for peak time moments. On the other hand, Future Feelings brings a more funky, groovy interpretation that also works splendidly on dancefloors.

Ricardo Baez draws on many influences. Electro, house, synth-pop and italo are pillars of the Italian artist’s unique style. The Florence based musician arrives at the Bordello with On and On. Featuring Curses, the opener is a floor-filler. Known for his EBM-stained wave works, this vocal mix is a late night Summer romp. Crisp percussion and warm bass lines usher in addictive hooks and throaty vocals from Luca Venezia. The original version follows. Lyrics are stripped back allowing the upbeat synth play to take the limelight. Cascading notes announce the flip. “Sfida Notturna” is built on delicate drum patterns and arc of string before breaking to a heady dawn. “Dietro L’orizzonte” brings the curtain down. Toms and cinematic synthlines introduce rasping rhythms and vocoder samples. The piece is perfectly measured, fragile keys ascend next cymbal crashes and computer voice. Sumptuous sounds from the north of Italy.

French artist Mala Ika joins Roam Recordings with two new original offerings backed by remixes from Phunkadelica and Shubostar to form the Du Bist Ernst EP. Mala Ika has been prolific lately with releases on labels such as Permanent Vacation, Critical Mondays, and Watergate Records. She brings her unique style to Roam starting with the title track Du Bist Ernst which thoughtfully bends an 80s riff into something completely new. Zufall continues to showcase Mala Ika’s sound with pulsating synth stabs, arps, and even a little breakbeat floating through this hypnotic tune. Italian duo Phunkadelica who have been topping the charts lately with tracks like “By The Power Of Grayskull” takes on Du Bist Ernst and delivers a dark driving version. Returning to Roam with her Tracelove remix, Shubostar gives an epic version of Zufall with lush strings, dramatic builds, and some classic rave flavor.
