Local Suicide announce their long awaited debut album ‘Eros Anikate’ which will be released May 13th, 2022 via their own label Iptamenos Discos. The title translates to ‘love invincible’ and draws influence from a play written by Sophocles titled ‘Antigone’.
The album holds true to the duo's ‘technodisco’ sound that the couple has become so well known for and showcases their signature style of blending a retro feeling with a modern twist. In usual Local Suicide fashion, the duo’s debut album showcases tongue in cheek modern-day circumstances, mystical adventures, and moody baselines; all tied up with the promises of happy endings. You can instantly hear that this album comes from the duo’s hearts. Inspired by the travels and experiences they encountered throughout the pandemic, it’s also a love letter to
the friends they met during their career - some of which are also featured on the album: Lee Stevens, Curses, The Hidden Cameras, Sissi Rada, Skelesys, Theus Mago, Hard Ton, Kalipo & Greek new wave legend Lena Platonos.


The perfect storm of Local Suicide’s power, rhythm and lyrics, ‘PHD in Apology’ is what they’re all about. Sassy, sarcastic and audacious... yet lighthearted, forgiving and optimistic, it's the perfect balance of emotions that make up love and relationships. Encapsulating the entire theme of the album, this track is a “humorous take on human relationships, apology and forgiveness”. Exploring how to navigate the feelings and bad tastes that relationships leave in your mouth, the dark humour track teaches us a lesson in the plenty of excuses from apology givers.

Enchanted by Greek culture, the album spreads the word of love and connectivity. Local Suicide has ensured this concept spreads beyond the world of play to different cultures, thus making it a universal idea that connects with a diverse array of people. While the story of Antigone may

Olimpiada is a label that specialises in groove heavy slow motion big sounding dance tracks who last year released. Vlora Sun by Thomas Fruedenthal. Saka's latest track fits perfectly with the Tirana by way of Brighton outfit. Remix duties are covered by Tulioxi the Italian Stallion responsible for hits on Shara and Night Noise.
The result is a dream laden track full of live instrumentation, jazzy stabs and an irresistible groove accompanied by a gorgeous set of analogue sounds, guitar noises and a smooth as you like drum machine.
As winter warmers go, this one absolutely smells of the summertime. You can almost feel the breeze on your face as you hit play.

London electronic label Days Of Being Wild celebrates 10 years of existence with a compilation of commissioned tracks from an international cast of producers.

This compilation celebrating their 10 years anniversary reflects that variety in the label’s taste.
It mainly sticks to their psyched up indie dance ethos but sometimes takes unexpected turns. We go from the New Order tinted Suicide Pact by Kiwi to the cinematic landscapes of Jimi After via the electro pop of Offset or the Israeli cold wave of Middle Sky Boom.
Along the way Justin Robertson, French artists daWad, Nhar and Club Bizarre, Berlin based Franz Matthews, legendary Richard Norris and Days Of Being Wild themselves take us on trip that goes from tribal psychedelia, EBM beats, skewed samba and motorik techno.

Three years in the making only to be held up almost another year due to COVID, finally now seeing the light of day is this brooding monster of an EP by Brussels based Strapontin, aka multi-disciplinary artist Patrick Belmont.

Clocking in at over 35-minutes the record is almost album length and spans a multitude of depths and moods with elements of techno, new wave, rock 'n' roll, house and tribal…...all glued together with a sleazy atmosphere reminiscent of the electronic body music pioneered by Strapontin’s Belgian forefathers Front 242 and their German peers DAF.

Add to this a heads-down-no-nonsense darkroom beast of a remix by techno maestro Sascha Funke and the package is complete.

Strapontin provides us with some insight:
“It started with a desire to move away a bit from my 'dancefloor' side and go into more undefined fields, I wanted to work with blurry sensations that I can't understand. I like mixed feelings. Dramatex 300 is made of that ambivalent mood. The voice is saying 'I'm feeling empty' and 'I'm feeling healthy' at the same time. I like that paradox. Eunuque is a song but is also a character I will develop in a short movie (which will act as the 'music video' of the song). The Eunuque is a character full of anger yet he doesn't want to fight nor has he a target to aim at. A restrained aggressivity is boiling inside him/it that has no opportunity to escape from the body and gain release. The song is the fever he feels from these inner battles. I think Le Bain d'Huile and Anti-sceptical have the same slow and angry feeling. I'm proud of these tracks because they are a bit mysterious to me and it feels like they controlled me more than I controlled them.”

In the small village, whispers quickly became truth, ancient legends became scripture. Many stories had passed through the generations about the old man and those who'd come before him; he'd been painted as maleficent, as the strange offspring of evil powers. The anger that these rumours caused began to boil up inside him, but he found nowhere to direct it, instead he bottled it up and continued to keep himself to himself. Here, people thought these tall tales gospel, and so he ostracised himself, scorned by stories beyond his control. Perhaps he'd simply meant to exist alone.

Recorded over three years (then sadly delayed for another year due to Covid) the next release from the Invisible Inc camp is finally seeing the light of day — and it's well worth the wait. Coming courtesy of Belgian multi-disciplinary artist Strapontin, who follows releases on Hard Fist, Optimo Digital Dance Force and tablon, the four tracks (backed by a remix from the ever-dependable Sascha Funke) see him depart from the dancefloor, instead exploring fuzzy rhythms and sleazy EBM and punk influences.
