With a finely tuned ear for rave-ready energy and soul-soothing melodies, Manchester duo Cortese continue a run of fine form. Following standout releases on LNOE and Hotflush, they make their long-awaited debut on Constant Circles with the Parallels EP - an essential slice of forward thinking UKG.

Two original cuts lead the way, showcasing Cortese’s signature blend of nostalgic garage vibes and cutting-edge production. These are closely followed by two standout remixes: label boss Just Her delivers a deep and driving rework, while Jozef K, known for his immersive sonic textures, delivers a haunting atmospheric twist, each bringing a new flavour to appease any dance floor.

Completing the package is original street art from Brighton’s legendary graffiti artist Unknown, raw and unfiltered, drawing on the parallel between art and music. Unceasing. Limitless. A constant circle.

Humble B Flats - Blessings of Sun double disk, coming out on Pond Life Records is a sonic spiritual voyage and document of the artist's last three years, overcoming grief and challenges - while deepening a sense of gratitude for the teachings and learnings along the way.

Musically this has translated, to a beautiful series of works, inspired by musical cultures around the world, this Deep House album is infused with jazz, psychedelia , tribal and heartwarming sounds and grooves.

With exception to collaboration with Kudo Sol and Ilja Gussarov (on tracks B1 & C1 respectively) all instruments, as ever, are played, recorded, rearranged and mixed by Humble B Flat, with a more sample based approach to the rhythmic grooves.

A debut label outing from Ambient Babestation Meltdown & Borai, the production pairing whose musical partnership has birthed a string of releases on Optimo Music, Me Me Me and Ritual Poison.

Known for their excursions into scuzzy, cyberpunk and EBM electronics, they join forces once again for ‘Why The Tiger And The Monkey Are Sworn Enemies’; a three-track EP chronicles the pair’s ventures into chugging grooves, wormhole acid and early 00s tech house à la Playhouse and Rework.

Feel Fly, the alias of Perugia-based producer Daniele Tomassini, a visionary force in Italy’s electronic music scene and co-founder of Afro Templum, debuts on Taste Rec. with his new EP.

Titled "Festina Lente", an old Latin saying that means "make haste slowly", this deep work invites listeners to surrender to dance, movement, and the flow of energy in a timeless space, untouched by the idea of an ending. It's sincere and atmospheric, moving through the artist’s musical roots: progressive sounds, cosmic moods and a touch of lightness drawn from Italian dance culture.
The release blends carefully sacred, dreamy visions with raw rhythmic sequences and warm synthesized basslines: magical.

After releasing several EP on Accents Records, ARTS, and Diffuse Reality. Pablo Diarra aka Saïph launches his own label Songe Anima records (Sonam rec) with this first release Griffe Sonam EP.

The EP's surprising influences include techno, contemporary trance and ambient, with acoustic recordings drums somewhere between, Afrobeat, jazz and Maracatu, and colder textured pads. This EP feels both grounded and ethereal.

The whole low-end spectrum stares us in a very dub-like direction, the snare, Rim, hats game is as swift as it is aerial, while the electro sound design elements take us, through experimental effect, into a vast, hushed soundscape.

The EP can't be summed up in a single musical style, and explores musical universes we've rarely heard together. The resulting unity is a mature, rhythmically complex sound, an insider's music that's easy to access because it's so danceable.

'After Trane'is an explicit tribute to John Coltrane. Here, the main lead evokes a sound somewhere between trumpet, flute and organ. Its polyrhythmic tangle with a second lead to the 5th can evoke a Balkan fanfare, a Celtic ritornello, West African chants, or even an Oriental dimension; there's something quite universal about this appearance; whose main characteristic is to produce a trance effect. The closing solo may evoke something of Joe Zawinul, and in some aspects takes the allure of a Coltranian pastiche in its articulation. You'll even recognize a brief citation of the Impressions theme, breaking through the mix and setting the track on fire at 5''33.

PREMIERE : Pablo Diarra - After Trane

Moody McIvor is a Darkwave/Synthwave act fronted by Christopher McIvor from the Gold Coast, Australia, with production support from Felipe Bortoloti (Nørus), originally from Brazil and now based in Portugal.

Formed in 2021, the project blends ethereal soundscapes with pulsating rhythms, weaving together electronic textures and organic depth for a sound that is both intimate and expansive.

The debut release on McIvor’s new sublabel Ronnie’s Records, Shadow Frequencies, is a deeply personal body of work developed over four years and dedicated to the memory of close friend Benaiah Fiu. Each track channels love, loss, and memory through haunting melodies, evocative vocals, and emotionally rich atmospheres.
