Q1. How and where was the mix recorded? Could you tell us about the idea behind the mix?
I recorded it at home using a turntable, an e&s mixer and ableton. I wanted to listen through to music I had come across recently and dig into the tracks deeper. I leaned more into the trippier sounding tracks with really nice sonics and "world-building" characteristics.

ターンテーブル、E&Sミキサー、abletonを使って自宅で録音しました。最近出会った音楽を聴いて、より深くトラックを掘り下げたいと思ったんだ。トリッピーなサウンドで、音質が良く、「世界観がある」楽曲に重点を置きました。

As a little nod to the late great Andrew Weatherall we've re-sharing an old mix of his alongside Sean Johnston, recorded in the lead up to Electric Elephant 11 years ago, which was only previously available on Mixcloud.

This came just a year into the duo's journey as ALFOS and their now infamous project which Andrew described as “an oasis of slowness in a world of increasing velocity”.

A solid slice of oompty boompty music to see you into the weekend. Stick it on and raise a glass to the chairman!

JD Twitch began his journey into music and djing in 1987, just in time for the arrival of Acid House and Rave. He started two legendary Scottish clubs - Pure and Optimo, the latter a duo with Jonnie Wilkes which recently celebrated 25 years of global touring, outrageous parties, and communitarian activism. Ransom Note’s new label Dance Music From Planet Earth have just released ‘Richard Sen presents Dream The Dream: UK Techno, House and Breakbeat 1990-1994’. The British Indian DJ/producer/record collector is a music dance music veteran with a proper heavyweight CV, whose Zelig like history goes even further back. Speaking on his Bleep mix, Richard explains: “All the tracks that I chose for this mix are from 1988 - 1995. I tried to choose tracks that were musical, deep, druggy and still rough around the edges. This is a snapshot of the kind of music I was playing back then - a personal selection of some of my faves. I'd like to think that they all stand the test of time and I still play some of them out now.”

To come ‘Full Circle’ is to travel the path and arrive back at the point you think you left from.

Full Circle, also known as Alexis Le-Tan (Wonders Ovze World) and Joakim (Tigersushi, Crowdspacer), a long term project with close friends Le-Tan and Joakim music project and “concept band born from loving ears that want to re-process our electronic past.”

They’ve delivered some amazing edits of obscure Goa tracks and remixed the likes of Die Orangen, 10Lec6, and Tapan and released on Good Morning Tapes and Vladimir Ivkovic’s Offen.

“To complete a journey is to learn and to slow down and re-imagine is to enrich – Full Circle hears the hedonistic sound of the 90’s in a light that reflects a different space for our current time and beyond. Always bridging the gap between the past and present: they are and continue to go Full Circle.”
