A natural story-teller, Matt Boylan-Smith left his home town of Bathurst a few years ago to write, travel the world and tell people his tales.

With multiple tours of Europe and a foray into South America, Matt Boylan-Smith has been gathering his experiences to move into a new direction with his song-writing.

Matt Boylan-Smith has provided the pre-match entertainment for the National Rugby League and gained national radio play on Triple J with his single We Can Be Together. His film clip for his unreleased track ‘Johnny‘ was recently recognised as the winner of the Madrid International film festival in the best shorts competition. He performed at the 40th anniversary of the Sydney Opera House and various festivals throughout Australia.

Matt Boylan-Smith has also collaborated with Alora and Senii (Finland)., providing the signwriting and singing. They have generated three songs and their track “Down by the Ocean” reaching the viral top 30 in both Germany and Finland on Spotify and has over three million streams.

He has recently worked with engineer and producer Lon LeMaster (Toto 4, Don Henley) and Beau Hill (Alice Cooper, Winger, Kix, Ratt) on his originals and is currently working with producer Dan Frizza to work on a new ballad for release in 2020.

Will Henderson is a Bellingen/Berlin based musician who loves to write, sing, toot and strum things.
He is a multi instrumentalist songwriter who wants people to feel good, always playing around the world and managing 8 groups, his life has become a permanent tour.

Will and Esther grew up in a small country town in NSW, learning violin from their mum from the tender age of 3. Will took up guitar after discovering Jimi Hendrix at age 13 and Esther kept on with classical violin. In 2011 Will moved to Berlin in pursuit of love and Esther moved to Melbourne for its straight roads and good coffee. They discovered that writing together was fun and easy and would enable cost-free summer catchups if they gigged their butts off! This exploded into playing shows Germany, Ireland, Denmark, Greece, Switzerland and have toured up and down the East and West coasts of Australia two years in a row, selling out venues and making new friends around the globe. The last two years have seen these siblings write and record their songs, which are now ready to release. 

Gimme Gimme’s music is inspired by the siblings’ addiction to Rage in the 90s, their mum’s favourite artists like Sade and Supertramp, and their own love for current artists, Still Woozy, Van Hunt, Solange, Frank Ocean and Tame Impala. 

In late 2019 they recorded their debut EP with Berlin based producer, Tim Granbacka, featuring LA. based artist Van Hunt. Mixed and mastered by one of Melbourne’s finest musical engineers Nick Herrera (Hiatus Kaiyote, Slowfade) at The Grove, in Coburg.
