"My Plea" is a piece scored for mixed choir and cello solo. It was composed as part of my undergraduate honors thesis which was centered around a poem written by the WWII Japanese Internment survivor, Mary T. Matsuzawa. Through the use of two main contrasting themes, I sought to illustrate both the suffering she experienced while interned at Gila River War Relocation Center (via an "A theme" written in minor mode) as well as the hope and comfort she found through her faith in God (via a "B theme" written in major mode).

Fairy Songs is the first movement from Will Todd's Choral Suite 'Songs Of Magical Creatures' settings of Shakespeare. 

The music for ‘Fairy Song’ takes its inspiration from the  fizzing energy of the spirit (First Fairie) as she describes her magical existence.

Recorded for the Signum Classics label and performed by The Bach Choir, this album is released on Friday 27th March 2020.
