The artistry in how each instrument is played is really quite astounding. I can just wander off on any instrument and be impressed for different reasons.

So, as life is busy and my studio room is being rebuilt, I found myself rummaging through my archives and found another interesting bit - this is still a 4-track, I think it's from 1999, I seemed to have been on a real mental groove.

I threw some neat VSTs on the tracks to give it a slightly modernized feel, hope you enjoy.

The babbling noise of Wyming Brook as you climb the kilometre 'footpath' is incessant throughout the year. Slippery and muddy in winter the walk can be tricky (especially for arthritic knee sufferers!). In summer the joys of the ascent can soothe the mind as the only the sound of rushing water can.

I recently re-discovered this daft song and decided to share it with you.   I first 'performed' it live aeons ago, at a very serious spiritual workshop, quite spontaneously (and a bit loudly),  after a day of intense meditation and self-discovery.  Although many appeared to enjoy the song, there was an abiding sense of disgrace at my flippancy and foolishness.  That sense of rebuke and naughtiness delights me still...

An absurd song indeed.. for absurd times :-)

I made this song with the desire to replace and connect with the next tone before the change in tone has meaning.
 I love to remember the reality in my mind, such as "when I feel the emotions of others" and "impressions of dreams just before waking up".
 I wanted to express the movement of my heart, which only I, who I love so much, know through music. 
 I tried to stay as far away from any form of genre as possible and carefully searched and made my own form.
 The characteristic of this song is that you can't find a more comprehensive image than any other song in the past.
