A.J. Kaufmann—wandering bard of Poznań, sonic druid of the cassette realm. Born under a vinyl moon during a lo-fi storm, raised by spectral mixtapes and surreal dreams. He’s conjured 200+ albums while debating invisible muses and sipping metaphor tea. Writes like a mystic, sings like a caffeinated oracle. May or may not be part mushroom. Proceed with headphones.

Adam Majdecki-Janicki (1985) has been writing poetry, lyrics, composing, playing, and recording since 1998. His most important achievements to date include his debut poetry collection “Siva in Rags” (Kendra Steiner Editions, USA, 2008), the vinyl and CD “Second Hand Man” (Mimics Cool, Poland, 2011), the CD-R and vinyl “Stoned Gypsy Wanderer” (Kendra Steiner Editions, USA, 2014 / Ramble Records, Australia, 2021), the experimental/ambient album “Eimi” (Snow in Water Records, France, 2020), the vinyl album of his group Säure Adler (Ramble Records, Australia, 2021), and countless other physical and digital releases worldwide.

I started out in the Polish cassette underground in 1998. I've been recording tapes with simple folk/punk/blues/psychedelic songs, inspired by Syd Barrett, Velvet Underground, Monster Magnet, Woody Guthrie, Sawyer Brown, and Captain Beefheart. Those are the influences I remember today. I was using a pseudonym back then, Adam Sandosa, taken from the first Amon Duul LP, "Psychedelic Underground".

I never stopped making art, so here we are in the future.
