This is a collaboration with Anthony Julius Williams who wrote and sang the lyric & lovely vocal melody. We did a very simple version in 2011 for his one-man show, "Blood is Mere Decoration: A Ritual for Liberation" - a shamanistic exploration of alternatives to America's addiction to incarceration. I always wanted to turn it into a banging tune, so glad I had the chance!

I dedicate this song to Richard Glossip, who has been sentenced to die in Oklahoma, USA for a murder of which he is almost certainly innocent. Just minutes away from his scheduled execution on September 30, 2015, his life was miraculously spared for 37 more days when it was discovered the prison had the wrong mix of chemicals for the lethal 3-drug cocktail!
