A storm is a musical composition in itself. Taking inspiration from this week's Disquiet Junto project, I created improvised music to accompany Bruno Auzet's (@user-876924050) excellent field-recording, enhancing the inherent emotions and sounds of the original.

Really great to finally release this track which evolved into a complicated prog rock beast as we wanted to create a Tool vibe… we hope we achieved it. Lyrics are based on my own battles with inner demons linked with Jungian psychology exploring the id or shadow. Please check out my friend From Sands other fantastic work here @from-sands he is incredibly talented!

Originally I just wanted to make five minutes of interchanching deep pad and noisy something, with a lot of non-silent space between them. I added some ambient field recordings in these spaces, because the name of the track was intended to be 'The Impossibility of Being Silent'.

But then my mi clouds produced some sounds of it's own and I liked it. At the end I had to reintroduce silence to all parts. All in all I hope this to be considered as a tentative approach to silence, with an increase towards the end.

Anyway, back to the video at hand. I haven't been posting a lot lately which is due to the score to a small indie-video game I'm working on right now. It's an entry to the itch.io game-off and we had a month to start and finish a game. Besides work, the game and whatever else one has to do I've sadly neglected my social media outlets. While warming up to record some stuff for the game yesterday I made did this little improvisation that I thought would be fitting to the latest improvs.

I've been using the Vigier Shawn Lane Excalibur on this one, going into the 'When the sun explodes' by Beautiful Noise Effects into the BLuguitar Amp1 which goes into the Bluguitar Blubox which then goes straight to the mixer. 

I've got a Mooer A7 in the FX Loop, as well as a 'Shallow Water' by Fairfield Circuitry (prominently featured on the loop) and the Boss DD-20 for the loop
