"In My House" is a "bucket list" song Nickodemus always dreamed of covering into an actual House version. After a weekend of hanging with Bam from the Jungle Brothers in Brooklyn, they called over Carol C & Lisa Shaw to lay down some vocals. Going for that straight ahead 90's hard hitting house vibe, Bam flipped his verse to show everyone how it was done back in the day. France's house producer ART OF TONES made 2 remix versions on the flip-side taking it deeper into club zone.

On the flip-side:
After the US elections in November, Nickodemus decided the need to add an updated 2017 "FUNK THAT" version to the release. It features NYC house music party & radio host legends THE ILLUSTRIOUS BLACKS over a funky break & deep chords reminiscing the original 90's release. "Question, how can someone who is sexist racist, homophopic, Islamophobic, and an ableist become president of the United States of America? FUNK THAT!"

BIOG
LichtStern is a part time globetrotter dreamer, light and music lover. He has prepared mesmerizing sound journeys across a range of electronic music for some time. The Lyon French native employs effectively majestic melodies and deep basses that go from the outside in. His style roots influence goes back to mid-90s with tech pioneers Laurent Garnier, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Manu le Malin, Sven Väth and later on with deep and inspiring trip hop vibes from artists such as massive attack, Portishead, thievery corporation and others alike. Today his sound finds much inspiration in these roots together with the latest notes dropped on Azur beaches from Tel Aviv all the way up to shores of the Berliner Spree: deep, melodic, oriental, happy or dark with a notch of hard when needed, but always vibrating and guided with the beauty of lights, winds and souls coming together to lift up on the dancefloors. His stunning musical narratives have been vibrating across Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Luzern, Ibiza and Cabarete.
