Fun Facts:
The rhythm guitar is Dean's Ibanez 12-string.
It is probably the last verse which was altered in 1985, when George was reviewing his songs ready for these recordings.
George wrote the words hastily and they just came out of his imagination, rather than being based on anything that happened, or that he read or dreamed.

Fun Facts:
This song in C major has something of a classic chord sequence.
It was written after a weekend when George felt underwhelmed by how his girlfriend had received him when he went to visit.
He was also frustrated that she insisted they keep their relationship secret from her family and friends.
This is a song that was never heard before  being released here.
It was also never performed by any band.

Fun Facts:
Will I Still Be With You Tomorrow is the third song for The Concept Album, and the second to be finished.
It received a slight lyrical update when George and Senga collaborated on this in 1986.
The chords in the verses are barre chords played in the same positions for each line, but using different shapes.

Fun Facts:
1984 was actually written on New Years Day, 1984, after hitchhiking home from a New Year celebration.
This is a hard rock song in the key of A.
It was a regular in the set of Wud, who did a very good version of it.
Ken would add some strange vocals from the TV series The Prisoner.
The drum machine was unable to do the six bars of 6/8, so it was turned off and back on again.

Whilst he continued to wait for her at another friend's bedsit, he was very much tempted to snuggle with another friend who was waiting there with him, but he did not.

Fun Facts:
The Pig, the Peg and the Egg was written for fun by George, Graham and Jack the Frag.
It was composed in the evening at Flat D, 1 Grosvenor Place, also known as Wud HQ.
It is very much based upon a song called Barabadabada by Ivor Cutler.
During its creation, George's disgruntled girlfriend stamped into the room and yelled her displeasure at the trio of composers.
Undaunted, they carried on to the end.
There is nothing sensible or serious about this song, neither expressed nor implied.

Fun Facts:
This is the full-length version of Dream, with its 10:30 guitar solo.
It was composed on a canal boat on the Norfolk Broads shortly after the end of 'A' levels.
To begin with it was only about four minutes long.
During various jams that happened to be recorded, it grew and grew.
Much of the guitar solo was fairly definitve in the end.
Ken helped a lot with the arrangement, including the changes of tempo and feel.
Dream was performed by The Subterraineans as well as by Wud.

The lead guitar is clean with a touch of reverb from the HH PA amp and Boss OC2 octaver.
The arpeggio rhythm guitar is beautifully flanged by the EHX Electric Mistress.

Fun Facts:
This version of Planets is very much the full-length version.
The first 1:40 consists of interplanetary space sounds.
One could argue that these are rather unnecessary sound effects to begin the song.
Planets was composed in the small hours of the early morning at Flat D, 1 Grosvenor Place, also known as Wud HQ.
The guitar is played on the Ice Maiden through the Electric Mistress on the 'red' setting.
During the long sustained Em7 chord, the guitar sings a note that isn't actually there.
This was a remarkable moment.
It was possibly due to harmonic resonance with the springs for the tremolo hidden inside the body that hold the bridge in place.
Planets was performed by Wud.

* What do we stand for as a label?

We support all independent musicians who are doing something we find interesting. Our team members all have formal music education qualifications.

We are against corporate brainwash muzak, their puppet friends in the mass media, and many other corporate activities. We will fight their desecration of music until either it stops or we die. 

We believe in helping others in the face of corrupt laws and a broken system. We are pro democracy, green energy and free speech.

We're politically liberal. We cannot support the republicans, maga or gun violence in the usa. We don't see there's any real difference, other than in name, between the christian far right in the USA and the taliban in Afghanistan.

In the uk we are broadly pro LibDem/Green/Labour/SNP. We are VERY anti-tory, bnp, ukip, and any of their friends and associates. We have no trust at all in the uk right wing press monopoly and the bbc. Beware the bbc and its claims of neutrality. It is the propaganda mouthpiece of the tory party. It even charges a propaganda tax called the licence fee. But we like Test Match Special and Radio 6, so does that make us hypocrites...? Hmm.

We support independence for Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Cornwall. We support the individual and the underdog. We are anti-putin and his war, and pro-Ukraine.
