We all remember the time that Powder stepped up on stage at Equation last year. , her psychedelic, brain-melting, trippy sound set left us glued to the dance floor. The pulsating beats and hypnotic rhythms created an otherworldly atmosphere, transcending the boundaries of conventional sound. Each track seamlessly blended into the next, carrying us on a journey through the depths of electronic euphoria. Powder's intuitive mixing and ethereal selections transformed the night into a sensory experience, where time seemed to bend and reality melted away,   As the rainbow lighting illuminated the cave orchestrated by human spectrum left an image that lingered in our minds long after the music faded .

Powder, The Cave [Equation 2023]

Not many have covered the ground like London's Richard Sen has. Starting his deep dive into the underground scene by being the much recognised Sen graffiti writer he has moved on over the years to be considered one of the UK's great selectors and DJ's. Having also released music under several guises, not only under his own name (which he also has wealth of huge remixes for artists like Bryan Ferry, John Grant, Unloved and LCD Soundsystem), but most notably under the phenomenal Padded Cell and the excellent Bronx Dogs. With his excellent weekly radio show on Charlie Bones' Do!! You!!! Radio station as well as dropping the award winning Dream The Dream (UK Techno, Breakbeat And House 1990-1994) compilation on Ransom Note, Sen finds himself with an even larger wealth of fans. With that being said we are delighted to welcome Richard Sen to the Off The Record mix series where he provides us with a 3+ hour journey taking us on a deep dive into his record selection providing styles of all kinda throughout. In a time when BPMs just keep getting faster and faster, it’s a real breath of fresh air to hear something focusing on organic, lush, warm music. @courtneyey, on from midnight to 2 AM, delivered the perfect selection to set the tone for a long night that kicked off in the best possible way. Expect house slow heaters, a sprinkle of disco tunes and jazzy melodies, mixed with ghostly vocals, tribal touches, acid pads, and overall top-notch electronic music that connects straight to your soul.
