Hi to you who pass through this cloud!
What I try to do here:
Receive music, slip words in it, lay emotions through my voice. Create something else by the mix of genres and musical worlds.
It's just exciting and exhilarating, even if I have no singing technique and no good material. 
Thank you to composers / musicians: without what they relate in my ear, I would have nothing to say!

Ce que j'essaie de faire ici:
Recevoir des musiques,  y glisser des mots, y poser des émotions à travers ma voix. Créer quelque chose d'autre par le mélange des genres et univers musicaux. C'est juste passionnant et jubilatoire, même si je n'ai pas de technique de chant ni de bon matériel. Composer/Producer blending folk melodies with neoclassical vibes, and cinematic verve, my work is a mix of original compositions and contemporary arrangements of traditional tunes.  I hope you enjoy the music! 

Philleann (pronouced PHILLY-ENN) is a mash up of my name Phil and one of the instruments I play, the Uilleann Pipes.  I also play the Whistle and Accordion.

I'm a Brit now residing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I'm also a member of Bellow Bridge a traditional celtic folk band.

Original compositions played upon various acoustic instruments. 

At the moment, the majority of music I record is original folk tunes. Most of these tunes arise whilst out in natural ecosystems or shortly after visiting a natural ecosystem. The titles often reflect an aspect of the ecosystem I had noticed while the tune came about. Lately this is usually a species of bird.

Tin whistles and flutes appear the most often in my recordings; though mandolin, tenor guitar, lyre harp, jaw harp, dulcitar, and a handful of other instruments show up fairly often as well.
