A song written and recorded shortly after visiting a large sleeping pig.

The drawing is of ferns playing a kalimba.

The Sleeping Pig

A song recorded the day after recording "The Sleeping Pig". And before recording this song, I visited the same large sleeping pig as it was waking up for dinner from a nap in a mud bath. 

The photo is of myself playing the adungu used in this song, and Bomba the cat.

The Waking Pig

A companion piece to Magdalen Green, the original backwards instrumentation and rhythm are brought forward in the mix. Additional vocal, piano and bass guitar have been added while playing slide with a Fender Strat through a Cry Baby Wah Wah.

a little experiment with Orba as a midi controller. The main line - free strings from Spitfire Labs in Ableton - Orba as a controller and the alternation of lead and chord positions - controlled by Orba. Then the standard keyboard line of virtual Ventus duduk and bass strings - Laboratory sound work, haha.

Improvisation N°7 « When spring comes near » for Solo Flute

Some people are like a palace with no entrance. They are intricate inside and shiny marble hide them.

Palace

Fusion experiment conducted  in an international collaboration between @human-error-leipzig and @bondcigi. No animal was harmed during track recording with  #subsequent37, #prophet12, #digitone, #analogrythm and #octatrack. Vocals by bees and #ghosthack's samples of wonderful anna.

Electronic/acoustic piece. Piano, sax, granular synth, things.

Turning

Original compositions played upon various acoustic instruments. 

At the moment, the majority of music I record is original folk tunes. Most of these tunes arise whilst out in natural ecosystems or shortly after visiting a natural ecosystem. The titles often reflect an aspect of the ecosystem I had noticed while the tune came about. Lately this is usually a species of bird.

Tin whistles and flutes appear the most often in my recordings; though mandolin, tenor guitar, lyre harp, jaw harp, dulcitar, and a handful of other instruments show up fairly often as well.
