1 More Thing presents Cwm Dancing - a show that celebrates and champions all forms of Welsh electronic/beat-based music.  

ALL genres covered from ambient to acid techno, dubstep to drum & bass, house to hip-hop and every possible fusion and flavour in between. The rules of selection are simple... The music has to be made by a Welsh artist, released by a Welsh label or made by an artist who's chosen to make Wales their home. 

There is a wealth of incredible, innovative and boundary-smashing music being made in Wales. There always has been. Cwm Dancing exists to celebrate this and highlight as much of it as possible. Please check the full tracklist and support the individual artists.

With a love of house, techno, and an exposure to a variety of electronic music, Mötas likes to forge funky fresh house sounds with minimal beats and a techno touch. He’s featured amongst some of the best from the underground scene at festivals & gigs such as Freerotation, Queens Yard Summer Party, Lion & Lamb, Artum, The Cause, Heal Festival and Natural Selections. Listening to DJ sets in the dome at Freerotation inspired him to get on the decks, and he's quickly developing his own style. Mötas is now producing deep cuts, balanced out with feel good flavour. Some of which we will be hearing in 2025. His event ‘Ymuno’ brings together the sounds he loves most on a dance floor, and his crew have created a new fresh vibe, that's quickly gaining momentum.

To be honest, I'd given up on Soundcloud for a long while, but I've returned to it in 2022 and it seems to be much improved. Also, maybe I never quite appreciated it in the first place. It's one of those things that is too hard to comprehend the scale/size/quality of, so you need to spend time with it to get the most out of it. It's certainly great when you connect with someone new etc, or discover their music etc.
