Featuring original music from the band in the form of ‘Talking in Your Sleep’ sitting alongside reworks from Argentine producer Fernando Pulichino. 
 
ASHRR kick off the wax with the mesmerising sonic tapestry of ‘Talking in Your Sleep’, that effortlessly transports you to another realm, expertly crafted through lush synths, transcendental melodies, and ethereal vocals. 
Following the A1, Fernando continues his long-standing relationship with the label, having served up remixes on titles such as Crazy P’s ‘Changes’ as well as being a member of 2020 Soundsystem.  Fernando delves into a trio of reworks starting with his ‘7-inch Mix’, a late-night sonic exploration with layers of evocative grooves and dancefloor energy. Next up is a cosmic offering of dubbed out disco, serving up Balearic beats you could easily imagine being spun by Harvey at Freddies. Closing out Fernando’s ‘Deep Mix’ brings a driving kick and deeper baseline to the groove, whilst retaining an intricate soundscape. It’s a powerful peak time weapon for fans of cosmic disco-house.

20/20 Vision welcome Los Angeles based band ASHRR to the label.
We’ve always enjoyed working with bands as well as producers and thought it was about time Crazy P have some company on the imprint. And it was indeed Crazy P that first brought ASHRR to our attention with a sound that can be described like Roxy Music jamming with ESG on a warm sunny Sunday in Central Park!
 
ASHRR masterfully combine memorable vocal harmonies with live instrumentation and electronics and will be presenting their debut album ’Sunshine Low’ in 2024 but will treat us to a selection of singles and remixes dropping from September 2023 starting with the single ‘Fizzy’ that features remixes from OG dub pioneer Scientist and Felix Dickinson fresh from closing Block 9 Glastonbury and Gramophone at Houghton festivals.

"Staring out across the absolutely packed Lawn of Gottwood Festival 2024 as the sun shone through the trees on Crazy P dropping ‘Heartbreaker' I knew I had a mission to pull off. And that was to first attempt to keep the crowd and second take it from 120bpm disco and drop it off somewhere around 135 bpm electro ready for Freakenstein to come on in full swing. Not the easiest job in the world but one I felt confident to pull off knowing the Gottwood crowd, Crazy P and the Freaky one so well after being a part of all their lives for many years. It was also a rare opportunity for me to mix up everything from balearic beats, disco and deep house as ralph lawson before passing the headphones over to my alter ego EXIT PLANET EARTH to take over the controls for electro funk LIFT OFF!' - Ralph Lawson
