Born in London, raised in Thailand, and now based in Berlin, Aaroon possesses a worldliness that inexorably manifests itself in his music by informing both emotional breadth and stylistic diversity. The DJ and producer’s E.P. Cry for Kashmir is simultaneously a statement on half-forgotten crises occurring around the world, an optimistic nudge towards global peace, and a testament to the power of art, created on the belief that music can physically affect anything from a human brain down to the structure of a snowflake. Feeling, technical dexterity, and raw emotional expression play out across the “little stories” of this release, as Aaroon puts it.

After releasing his sophomore long player 'We Walked Home Together’ through Fiakun, El_Txef_A returns with a series of remix packs on his own newly created label Forbidden Colours. With this second remix pack the label pursuits its aim to be a home for El_Txef_A’s musical adventures and a way of sharing his vision.

Bedouin wraps the EP up with a mystic and shamanistic feeling on their remix of 'The Love We Lost feat. Woolfy, which we exclusively premiere. Additionally, we caught up with El_Txef_A for a quick chat about Forbidden Colours, Bedouin, touring, and more.

A party made by friends for friends - back then, just like today.The strong emotions of these long-year friendships set the keynote for the sound of this compilation, which celebrates the 20th anniversary. Their sound has been influenced by the SOS parties, and at the same time their sound has inspired us - just like this collection of music will do in the future.
