Well explained re potential treatment maybe just saw the autoimmune research Prof Belinda Lennox as one of possible cause which I feel is possible having been a carer for an autoimmune 's like syndrome of Paraneoplastic where a specific antibody 'trigger this autoimmune reaction in some cases an anti GABA causing Encephalitis or anti Yo causing Frontal lobe inflammation leading to Psychosis.  My hope is this research will collect those 'many people with Bipolar (my son is Type 1 rapid cycle) and search for a 'common' antigen maybe anti GABA and its varieties AA or BB  or many other 139kD protein most likely a surface type as versus 62 kD of anti Yo which is an internal typeor even others That is my hope because all other medications currently used does not address the 'cause'
