Within Canada’s rich history lies a shared destiny that includes those people who dwelled the land before European settlements as well as those migrants who’ve come after. “BROWN” is an ode to those who’ve faced racial ignorance, yet recognize that blessings are abundant when we learn to be ourselves, in harmony with others who are also, different. “BROWN” is knowing the pain we carry is not reason to feel held down, but to lift ourselves up.
