Music artist EVARPARE is a DJ, producer, guitarist and songwriter from the southside of the Alpine Republic of Austria. During his performances he takes the audience on an extraordinary music journey. With a melodic mix across house, dance, trance and techno music, he takes the listener out of their everyday life to a good vibes experience.

In Christian's life, music played a key role from an early age on. Even as a child, artists such as Eric Prydz, ATB and Chicane were some of his favorite artists. So, the first beats were produced at the age of 12 years on his own PC. Especially his parents, who found each other during their work life in Switzerland and are great fans of country, rock and blues music, had a great influence on his musical development. Furthermore, the rise of crossover music in the mid-1990s took an important place in Christian's music perception. So came what had to come: After basic musical education in the school and on the flute, followed by several years of guitar and vocal education, the founding of a rock band took place. Over a period of several years, the six-member group performed in various Austrian cities and gained positive feedback and experience until the project was ended due to lack of time by several band members. After some guest appearances as guitarist (Seaside Festival, B72 Vienna,…) he took an artistic break. But it wasn't long before the passion for electronic dance music moved into the life focus once more.

Since 2018 Christian works again as an artist and he is already repeatedly booked at established events. He is described by DJ colleagues and promoters as a rising EDM artist who wants to bring new sound into the scene - which honors him greatly. In April 2019 he launched his own Podcast/Radio Show under the name "SALTWATER" which regularly appears on various streaming and video platforms. The episodes repeatedly secured a place in the Top 10 Deep House and Electronica Charts on Mixcloud. His 2020 FM4 Radio premiere with the saltwater show solidify his reputation as a melodic and cinematic soundscape artist.

His intention: To take even more people on an emotional journey with his extraordinary mix of electronic beats.

With dance music roots that stem from a love for 2000s trance and techno, Texas-born Andrew Pinkowitz turns lifelong curiosity into creative opportunity by diving beyond the static noise of daily life into the deeper textures of organic house. Pinkowitz’s productions blend the ethereal and the melodic, creating dynamic dancefloor explorations of darkness and light. Digital life in the pandemic age brought about his first release, a collaboration with Mexico’s Ricardo Angeles released on Sound Avenue in 2022. That track, “Hidden Pathway,” was followed by entries on Singularity, Quite Right, Daydreamers, Amulanga, and The Purr. His work has received support from the likes of Hernán Cattáneo, Death on the Balcony, and St.Ego. Pinkowitz holds residencies at Mambo Ibiza Radio and Organic Deep House Radio.

Closer to home, Pinkowitz is a collaborative leader in the lush landscapes of Colorado’s rising melodic house scene as a member of the Sky Terrace Collective. On the decks of Denver’s Beacon, 1134 Broadway, and Bar Standard, he fashions discourse from downbeats, combining danceable favorites with uncommon treasures and samplings of works-in-development. Pinkowitz’s affinity with audiences forms compass points in sonic journeys that have led to direct support for Wassu and support for Eduardo McGregor, and which guide his path toward innovation and evolution in the years to come.

ABOUT OTTAWA PROG VIBES

Alain M.'s weekly podcast, Ottawa Prog Vibes, is now in its 7th year and is a recognized presence among Canadian Electronica shows. The show has two goals: showcase progressive DJ's from Ottawa (and Canada) to a global audience, and bring international DJ guests to an Ottawa (and Canadian) audience). 

Alain plays three out of every 10 shows. His mixing has been noted as particularly creative and smooth, a skill that allow his sets to be experienced as seamless stories.

An offshoot series, called Mellow Prog Vibes, is released every two weeks and focuses on more chill vibes, slightly more downtempo, to create a more relaxed vibe. It is curated by OPV resident DJ Boraa, who plays every other episode, with guest DJs playing the alternate.

Ottawa Prog Vibes and Mellow Prog Vibes are broadcast weekly on UK's Saturo Radio, New York's Chill Lover Radio and Ottawa's Blast the Radio.


ABOUT ALAIN M.

Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.

Over his 30+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, Sit-Down Sessions, Shake my Thursday and Expeditions, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements.

Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium). He was a monthly resident on Abyss Sound Experience on QuestLondon Radio in 2021 and on UK-based Beach Radio between 2021 and 2024.

He has appeared as a guest on a number of shows in several countries including the UK, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, Israel and the US. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ at several events by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse Radio, on CKCU FM’s Lost In Bass and Mapped Out Radio, on Montreal’s Afterhour radio show and on Toronto’s ION radio show.
