Alex Michael - Waiting For My Moment

I love this song by Passenger. I love the simplicity of the words; that hold so much meaning and work with the music so perfectly.

For me this song is about our inability to enjoy the moment when its there and understanding its value only once it has gone. 

We wanted our cover to be really stripped and simple to reflect the thoughtful nature of the piece and I respond so well to Guy Jackson's piano style so I knew it would work nicely. We dressed it at the end with a bit of orchestra.

I didn't  want the cover to be rehearsed and polished, I wanted it to be real and to capture a moment. In essence not to "let it go".
