The Eclectic Collective -- composition

This song began, as so many of ours do, with JJ coming up with the skeleton of it on his electric piano, organ, and synth during one of his Saturday night jam sessions. He originally laid down a bass line for it, too, which might be better than what I came up with, But he was kind enough to let me in on it, too, adding my four string fretless bass on top of Ken's intricate, lively drums.
  Once the rhythm section was complete, it was time for Stephen and Tez to add their guitar magic to the mix, too. They both laid down some thrilling guitar lines throughout. Lastly, I added the spooky synth theremin you hear throughout.
  When it was all finished and in the can, we asked Stephen to mix it for us, which he did in a professional manner. He also added the creepy sound effects you hear throughout, as well. 
  This song is an example of how the Eclectic Collective can take a idea from one of us, and make it grow into a monster. Speaking of monsters, we decided to release this a day early to coincide with the holiday. Happy Halloween from The Eclectic Collective! We hope you enjoy listening to this song as much as we enjoyed creating it.

This is an original song penned by Nat that demonstrates a lasting belief in the spirit of the Christmas season. It celebrates the childhood magic and wonder that too often wears away with the years that bring us to adulthood, and all that it entails. Hopefully this heartfelt message to everyone, young and old, will compel us all to hold on to where the magic came from and what valuable meaning it can always have in our lives. A very Merry Christmas!

4. Paddy Brings Peace To My World  - my other grandfather was a Wellington pilot in the RAF during World War Two. He sadly died in 1943 so I never met him. His death left a huge impact on my grandmother (who never married again) and my dad. She said he was very loving and thoughtful and felt he would have been thinking about them right to the end. That’s the approach in this song. His nickname for her was Paddy. No idea why!  Mastered by RCD Audio.
