This week, we have a magical, mystical journey to transport you to your favourite nature spot, from Artos Eleven, the alias of Arthur Bðhl.

Bðhl is the co-founder of Melifera Records (previously known as System11), a vj’ing and cinema entity which recently expanded to encompass a label and web magazine. He is also one of the organisers behind the enchanting La Vallée Électrique, a home-grown passion project in the form of a 2 night/3 day 500-capacity festival, running since 2017 in Southeastern France. 

Bohl has been composing for many years, a path which more recently took him into the wonders of the deep techno realm, where he has carved out his own personal style.

In his own words, this mix, recorded after the festival at his studio in Avignon, France  “… is an intimate story. I wanted to tell my experience of La Vallée Électrique 2020 in music… this particular edition took place in secret and in a small group by the riverside. It was beautiful and intense… It is a memory, the perspective of an inner dynamic. I used the river of the valley as a vision to create a red thread.”

And we can totally imagine the moment in all its glory - friends, and strangers, united by music in a perfect natural setting.

Arthur’s first EP will be out in less than a month, including remixes from Eyvind Blix and Forest on Stasys. We can’t wait!

Greek-born and now based in San Francisco, she combines the European techno influences with Mediterranean tradition, curating mixes which blend energy with emotion. She is currently working on creating her own deep and minimal sound. She has been a resident for Alibi Works, and co-founder of @bureau-noir collective in San Francisco.

We met Phanom on the dancefloor after she played the illustrious C12 space in Brussels where she’s currently holding a residency. When we arrived, her set pulled us right in and set the tone for what was to become a memorable night accompanied by performances from Adiel and Anthony Linell.

While reminiscing on this trip we are so happy to have her on for the 107th podcast of the series. With a broad past of playing guitar and singing, the freedom experienced at Belgium parties led her right into the electronic territory at which she embraced the energy of drum ’n bass and techno.

They managed to create their own sound and released several records on labels such as Children of Tomorrow, Piano Forest, Planet Rhythm, Autarchy and Voight including remixes by Wrong Assessment and Moteka. They performed alongside great artists and have more records coming out soon on BCA and Southern Lights including a remix by Ground Loop. Geek and creativity merged together to give birth to this new project. Italy based vinyl lovers/collectors and machines addicted they started their collaboration in the beginning of 2014 trying to create their own sound. They already played together alongside Markus Suckut, Regal, Kobosil, Boston 168, Wrong Assessment and many others.Their first release has been printed on wax as second release of PianoForest Records.Their second release has been released on Planet Rhythm gaining huge supports by the likes of ACR, Roman Lindau, Milton Bradley and many others. Their second vinyl only release is out on Autarchy Records, featuring a remix from Wrong Assessment. 

Out now an EP on Children of Tomorrow w/ Moteka remixes and a vinyl release on Voight w/ Wrong Assessment remix.
