Following their 5th anniversary, the Berlin-based event series Art Bei Ton is kicking off its label with a first VA release ‘Approaching The Illusion’ featuring 7 tracks from Ambient to Hypnotic and Deep Techno.  

The goal is to promote diverse international artists involved with our community and curate a sound reflecting different sides of our scene.  

Opening the VA with a dark and ritualistic Ambient track composed by the Sardinian artist @tvsflute, the journey follows a shamanic path by touching some euclidean rhythmics with the downtempo beat from our Art Bei Ton resident @mownofficial.  

Approaching a hypnotic dimension with @amlia’s unique atmospheric production, the VA follows up with a psychedelic tune from the Leipzig-based artist @vanta_techno.  

The collaboration between @fephmusic and @mr_tron offers another aspect of the hypnotic sound, with some more driving and uplifting vibes.  

Wrapping up this first release, the Berlin-based artist @andreacossumusic brings us to an unusually long and trippy journey through some mental whispering voices. The Indian producer @synistermusic takes the listener into a dark and dystopian momentum through a powerful Deep Techno groove.

VA - Approaching The Illusion [ABT-VA001]

TVS (aka Teresa Virginia Salis) is a flautist, electronic musician, composer, producer and DJ.
She approached music at the age of 8 and after a classical education she began working with contemporary music, electronic music and instrumental improvisation, through the creation of sound settings for literary readings, soundtracks and projects involving different artistic disciplines, performing in several festivals and events in Italy, Portugal, France, Poland, Germany, Spain.
TVS is a musical project born in 2018 to create an interaction between traditional instruments and electronic music, through live performances and Ambient, Dark Ambient, Experimental, Downtempo compositions. 
Her music combines ambient, instrumental and synthesized sounds.
In 2020 she began her career as a DJ, bringing her passion for Ambient and Techno music to a new level.

Nicolas Troncoso (Mr. Tron) is one of the most interesting DJs and production artists of the emergent Minimal and Techno scenes of South Florida, well known for his dynamic sets, smooth mixing and detailed production. Originally from Argentina, he has been a resident of Miami, FL since the age of 10, and has played an active role in the Miami community for the past 20 years, using various aliases before pursuing Mr. Tron. Under this alias, he has maintained different residencies in clubs around Miami such as the legendary Techno Loft in Club Space, The Electric Pickle, Treehouse Miami, and ATV Records, and has also appeared in festivals such as iii Points festival, and iii Joints festival in Miami, FL, owned and operated by David Sinopoli.

His current projects include owning and managing A&R for Alchemista Records and co-founding Zosimos, two independent vinyl and digital record labels showcasing international talent and self-releases.

The labels have included original works and remixes from artists such as Oscar Mulero, Stanislav Tolkachev, Eduardo De La Calle, Feral, Developer, Feph, Translate & Pulso, Mariano DC, Kessell, Jeremy P. Saša Delimar a.k.a. Infinity

DJ with over 15 years of experience, carving the name steadily as a music producer since 2017, first through releases in a domain of the deep techno and more recently taking the turn into the sphere of experimental music.

To date, he has been released on labels like Qeone, IO, Illegal Alien records, Lowless, Lett, Pyramid Blood and Oslated.

Saša’s chief preoccupation in music production is finding the balance
between a track for home listening and playing in the club, equally
embracing the experimentation of texture and composition and the
rhythmical intensity of the club track.

In the short time since he lives in Berlin, Saša has already performed in
renowned Berlin clubs like Suicide Circus, Griessmühle, Fiese Remise and //: about blank, taking up residency at Art Bei Ton.

Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, though the promotion of events, podcast series and a label.  

Organizing events in Berlin and Europe since 2018, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances, panels and workshops.  

Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, queer actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination.

Andrea Cossu is a Berlin-based DJ and producer, focusing on deep, hypnotic and ambient techno sounds.

Originally from Sardinia in Italy, he studied electroacoustic composition at the Conservatory in Cagliari and worked at AMAM Studio as a sound engineer.
He released numerous tracks, including his debut album “Spira” on The Gods Planet label, as well as a feature on a Semantica's VA compilation. 

He recently joined the events series Art Bei Ton, focusing on Hypnotic Techno and visual arts.
