Fenou was born in 2005. It is the first sublabel of Mo's Ferry and stands for this special musical output between more harmonious electronica and swinging minimal house... let's say "cuteminimalelectronica". The first releases are presented as cute mini-compilations consisting two tracks by two different artists. Later the label presented artist releases, as well. To drive the vinyl enthusiasts mad who favour not only day-by-day sounds the fenou releases are limited 10inch editions with hand painted cover artwork and serially numbered.

Over the course of the last three plus decades, the German born DJ, musician and composer Marc Romboy has become synonymous with a soulful electronic music sound that has taken him all over the world. As well as releasing on only the most influential labels, from Innervisions to Cocoon and Kompakt to Senso Sounds, he is also the sole mastermind behind the influential Systematic Recordings label and has been since 2004.

Nowadays an album specialist, 2006 saw him release his debut album, the captivating „Gemini" whilst in 2017 Marc released his first listening long player called „Voyage de la planète“, a pure electronica album with classical music influence and later, in summer 2017 the live recording of his collaboration with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra called „Reconstructing Debussy“, in cooperation with Boiler Room hit the stores.

Despite being a key player for so long, Marc is still as relevant as ever and remains right at the sharp end of electronic music. Proof of that comes in the form of his DJ schedule, which takes him from Fabric to Womb and Berghain to Rex, as well as to not one but three separate Boiler Room shows. All three proved Marc to be a dexterous performer who never relies on obviousness or gimmicks, instead telling truly musical stories that place dancers right at the heart of the action.

Recording great performances of classical music in the best audio quality has been Deutsche Grammophon's mission since it was founded in 1898. The list of artists who have collaborated with the label reads like a roll call of the greatest musicians of the past 100 years: Abbado, Argerich, Barenboim, Bernstein, Boulez, Domingo, Dudamel, Gilels, Horowitz, Karajan, Kleiber, Mutter, Netrebko, Salonen, Zimerman, and so on.

Disko B wurde 1991 von Peter Wacha aka Upstart als Sublabel des Independent Labels Sub Up Records (F.S.K., Die Goldenen Zitronen, etc.) gegründet; damals noch unter dem Namen "Disko Bombs“. In den 90er Jahren zählte Disko B mit international anerkannten Künstlern wie DJ Hell, Acid Scout, I-F oder Dakar & Grinser zu den weltweit renommiertesten Labels für elektronische Musik. Im Windschatten der Disko B Struktur entwickelten sich um das Jahr 2000 herum auch das Künstlerlabel Chicks On Speed Records sowie DJ Hells Gigolo Records. Mit dem Signing von Künstlern wie Stereo Total, Console, Electronicat oder Schlachthofbronx hat sich Disko B im Laufe der Nullerjahre zu einem eklektischen Label entwickelt, für das keinerlei Genregrenzen mehr gelten.
