I used to be in a band with the unfortunate name of 'The Rollers', and the frontman was a religious fan of Oasis. Every composition he churned out sounded like an Oasis scrapbook. My compositions for that band wasn't very much appreciated (likely because the compositions weren't good anyways) until i wrote this little piece, where it stylistically belonged firmly within the Oasis / britpop realm. The frontman was mildly satisfied with this composition, but we never got beyond playing it once in the studio. 

The song is about materialism, and dissatisfaction when one is not living the life that he/she desires deeply.
