Classic B&C style but with an edge that I really like. Vocals sound really good too. Love the guitars at around 1:40 and then how it breaks down at around 2:00 really cool arrangement. Guitar riff at the end is very good too. Lots of cool stuff going on and it all works well together, one of your best yet

I had these two little blues pieces – in E and C – and an arrangement for When I’m 64, and they seemed to fit, and voila! The whole piece runs for 100 bars, but subtracting the repeated two blues sections the piece adds up to 64 bars. I swear this was an accident!

this came from the first drum take recorded in my new downsized studio. kids needed larger rooms and my partner, Monika Jean, moved in, so sacrifices had to be made. most of the drums are gone. what you hear on this track are odds and ends i could squeeze into a corner. floor tom as a kick, broken hi hat that wont open, etc etc. surprisingly i tend to enjoy frankenstein drum sets more than full ones. the whole "making something out of nothing" spirit tends to inspire me most.

I did this about a year ago -- posting again because I reworked it a bit, and I just really like the tune. The 2nd & 3rd verses were inspired by a fellow SoundCloud member's life events.

in June 1965 a 21 year old Al Kooper was invited by producer  Tom Wilson to watch a Bob Dylan  recording session...that day he and the musicians( including guitarist Mike Bloomfield who with his skill intimidated Al away from the guitar ) were recording Like a Rolling Stone..somehow  Al Kooper managed to bluff his way onto playing the organ ....It is a well known and great story.. if you dont know it listen to Al  tell it on the YouTube clip below it is  a very entertaining listen the way he conveys it ......

I wrote this  little mess of a song about that day;  organ included ( but I think I need to turn it up more)....
....here it is warts and all....

Blender and Chirp is my current indie project.  I'm here to just try to improve and to listen to what other independent musicians create.
