When I came back to the UK in the mid 2000’s , as a DJ I was a bit lost. My sound ( Hard House) had fallen off the radar and Techno was like the old uncle at a wedding that everyone liked but did not want to dance with. 

I went record shopping one day and discovered Meat Katie and what at the time was called Progressive Break Beat. 

My DJ juices had an outlet and I devoured this sound for a good few years and to this day still think a lot of that sound would still stand up on most under ground dance floors. 

Nothing but Kill is a testament to that genre but with a happier vibe that contradicts the vocal completely.  It’s a proggy break beat feast of up lifting and at times slightly strange dance floor friendly beats. I love this record even though in theory none of the parts should be put together.
