This playlist was created from the songs that I been working on and re-recording for about three years. I have weeded out some songs that didn't record exactly the way that I had planned. Hello all, we are excited to share with you the final installment in the mega-collaborative pyschedelic fantasy concept album project 'Land of the Zed', from the group that we have now dubbed the Smoking Trout. Uziel, Stonerjazz and myself were involved in all 10 installments. We had other friends plug in along the way, including some new names this time around: Nic and Nadia Selvaggi. Special thanks to Jo Richter for contributing to the vocals as well. Thanks to all who participated, listened, and commented!
We had too much fun to stop here, so don't be surprised if we start another Zed concept album.

and exposed a magnificent Hall,

in his world.

ln ths welcomeless abode where tenants rights perptually erode
where bills are paid by humiliation and toil.

I fed the starving with golden tune and lifted up the many with melodies refined.

Though in a way, this is a comfy place
And quaint.
And yet it feels like restraint that keeps me from the land of Zed
From where I wish I'd never fled.

And even Roy who loves those blues.
And my accordion nowhere in sight occassionally late at night

In my vicinity.

Words You Say (with Mark Duffield)

This music relates the battle of the god Susanoo against the eight-headed dragon Yamata-No-Orochi. He must had the dragon drink a lot of sake to win the fight (I guess you can hear this near the end ^^).

This is the first song that I have recorded with my HeadRush Looperboard. I layered four separate acoustic guitar parts using a Taylor Koa 214ce. I then added Latin Percussion Conga Drums, Teak Shakers & Meinl Bongos using my old Yamaha MD4s minidisk recorder. Now, I have remixed this track by adding my Slingerland Snare Drum with Wire Brushes and Zildjian Constantinople Cymbals.

I recorded the drums and electric bass guitar around 2012. Last year, I started to record it on a better system. After re-recording the drums several times and then reworking the multiple guitar parts, I decided to go with this version. It could change again before it's over...

Sometimes I See

I am using Boss Phase Shifter and Tremolo Pedals. I will add drums and bass guitar some day... I am trying to achieve a Pink Floyd Prog-rock vibe by building from ambient and fusion strains. I finally got around to adding the Drums and Bass guitar to this song. I also reworked with my Taylor Sinker acoustic guitar using my Boss SY-300 synth.
