Finally got around to making "ver.B"

This time around, I wrote this in FamiTracker, a module editor that emulates the sound hardware of the Nintendo FamiCom and synthesizes the voice channels more faithfully. I was still able to stay within the limits of the system's hardware but still expand polyphony, thanks to MMC5, which simply adds two more square-wave voice channels.

This was my first attempt at playing with FamiTracker's VRC7 chipset emulation. While there were limitations in the chipset's polyphony, the sound came out all right. Unfortunately, the chipset wasn't able to pump out much in the low-end frequencies, so I boosted the bass after I converted the file from FTM to MP3.

Kid Icarus - Underworld - 8-Bit Remix [FamiTracker MMC5]

This one is more laid-back than most of my other work.  I love the music in this game since it manages to be epic without going over-the-top.  I think in addition to Guitar Pro 6, I used the "Timbres of Heaven", "Mysung Kite" and "DSK" soundfonts for synth and orchestral tracks.
