Trickin' A Pussy Willow (Collab NOXPOX)

Quietude in the midst of chaos, confusion, uncertainty, and restlessness; Seagull captures an Eden-like vision of tranquility and reflection.  It also came with a surprise he kept securely under his hat; I would be joined in the collaboration with him by two of my favorite SC artists, Ed Cunningham and Dan-t, masters of their genre. I didn't know until he unveiled the finished product.  My approach turned out to be "less is more" so I show up to the party fashionably late at just past the 2:00 mark, but what a lovely party...and vision.  I hope you think so too. The Alchemist's Face

in 2009 I moved into The Rat Palace, a studio in Hobart. Its been the epicentre of so many projects and I have shared the space with some amazing artists of all disciplines. I have hard drives full of jams from this time and will share a few over the next little while as a way of saying farewell to the space. This one is from August this year when myself ( Bass) and old band mates from an outfit called Hexfarm Dane Renshaw (Drums) and Phil Bywater ( Tenor Sax) found ourselves all in the same country for the first time in many years. So we dusted off some musical cobwebs one evening. The photo is of the last Ute load leaving the studio, Intonarumori strapped on the back - not quite sure where the next studio is yet !

In New York City I played with Bands like, "King"s East", "In The Service Of", "Fist of Facts", "Desire", "Dense Undergrowth"," "Matahari", "Like Wow", "Devil's Breakfast", "Muse Mob", "Atlantis 3000", "Monster", "Zenith", "Andromeda Crash" "Night Shade", I also collaborated with Hector Zazou, Harold Budd, Elliott Levin, Dennis Charles, Tetsu Inoue, Bettina Koster. Barbara Gogan, Salvatore Principato, Ken Man, Scott Hartley, Thomas Truax , Johanna Hugring, Martina Hoogland, Amanda Garrett and many others. For many years I also wrote Jingles for a lot of products like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mc Donalds, Toyota, Kodak, Payless Shoes, Rothman's, Salsa Tabasco, JC Penny, Liberty Science Center, American Heart Association, MCI, Reebok, AT&T, Fanta, Play Movil, etc, I also made music for Viacom writing music for cartoon networks, Bravo TV, Chanel 1, and MTV. Also wrote music for Bill Moyers (PBS)and also for Fax TV in Germany.
