Incoming with 90mins of Soulful Jungle for day two of the Mix Drop is Lubi J !

Based in Cardiff, the Headspace resident started off mostly playing soulful/liquid dnb back in 2000 and was heavily influenced by Fabio’s liquid funk and artists like Calibre, Carlito and Addiction, Bukem. In recent years she’s become more immersed again in the darker breaks and beats of jungle, drawing from labels like Function, Rupture, Samurai, AKO and Repertoire.

For her debut Certain Sounds mix she's drawn for a selection inspired by those early 2000's vibes but with a whole heap of modern Soulful Jungle tunes thrown in for good measure!

Jungle origins, rave, chill out, love and healing

Michael Regent, aka Rego, is a Jungle and Drum & Bass DJ based in South Devon. Originally from the South East of England, his journey into the underground began at age 14, immersed in UK hardcore and early jungle tape packs. By 16, in 1994, he was fully embedded in the rave scene, shaping his passion behind the decks.

Known for his versatility and deep knowledge of the genre, Rego brings an eclectic energy to every set, effortlessly blending across all subgenres of Jungle and D&B. Whether it's rolling amens, dark techy rhythms, or old school flavours, his selections reflect a true Junglist's spirit and decades of dedication to the sound.

I love drum and bass, and i would love to become a big dj one day.
Influences on my selections would be the likes of Calibre, Dj Marky, LSB, Marcus Intalex, Alix Perez, Makoto and Breakage just to name a few. So expect those sort of vibes most mixes.
