Starting with deep flow, there's a pretty chunky staccato to chaos section in here so we can give our stories some shape before letting them go, then spread-your-wings lyrical to remember that we are made to soar, and a lovely chilled landing into stillness to really integrate the journey.

I put this wave together knowing we'll be dancing on a gorgeous wooden platform facing north along stunning sandstone cliffs and a perfect Australian beach, with a small group, as lockdown means we can only have 10 people for a class.

Deep breath... Going online to teach 5rhythms. It's a little daunting, because I usually DJ live and respond to the room in the moment and my classes are usually 3 hours! So this is a bit of an adjustment on all levels.
Anyway. Here is the first one hour prerecorded set... I was certainly grooving around with my bluetooth headphones on max recording it, so I hope it hits the spot with you as well.

This serve of Lighten Da Funk Up is in the fourth week of lockdown, corona-style. We're all hitting our groove now, maybe getting it right some days, maybe going a little crazy others.

Here's a place to shake the crazy loose, to rattle the cage a little and let go some of the crap that's getting a bit heavy to carry around. It's a magic carpet ride of course, an unlikely blend of funk, retro, trance, intense, playful, sweet, soulful and still to give you somewhere to give shapes to all the feels as we dance what is true.

This is the last of the online classes for a while, as I don't have a venue with restrictions easing.
WINGS OF TRANCE is a 90 minute lyrical trance wave, which means it's a doorway to accessing the consciousness space that is our birthright, the part of us that has been dancing around fires since humans gathered lightning into a bundle and decided to warm their hearts around it.

Trance is where our soul finds its wings and this mix is a Gigi special, a magic carpet ride to the universe within.

This is the last Lighten Da Funk Up for a while, so I've thrown in some off my absolute favourite tracks to sweeten the farewell. It's a 90 minute magic carpet ride with some classic retro, funk and trance, and a super gorgeous lyrical back end to set your spirit soaring.

This offering is on the trance end of things (cos... let's face it... all my playlists are!) with plenty of front end staccato space to give shapes to our stories and really explore whatever we're working with.
