Oh how we love Willie and  Merle. This was one of their last songs that they recorded together and I believe they had fun doing it.  That was the Django and Jimmie CD.   Merle is gone now(RIP) and Willie  (keep on picking).  Thanks so much to my dear friend Michael.   What a great job you did.  Too much fun on this. Thanks for the listen

Retired musician .  Just writing a few simple songs about
life and growing old.  Song about my childhood on a
Louisiana delta farm.  Most songs were written and composed by me on my Boss  BR8 Digital Recording Studio.  Hope to complete my first CD soon.  I have a few cover songs also.
 

Current: The Analgesic Arthritics; Youth Is Wasted; Also, solo projects alone and w others. History: Ivan, Ian & Averil (70's);  Reeves Nevo & The Cinch (80's - this was an original LA band - we also got the prom band part in the 1982 movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High);  David & Annie (to date).  Eclectic; Original and Cover Tunes, some Shorts. We did our first collaboration overseas with Amanda and Pete Sanderson and hope to add Youth Is Wasted to many more with them and others.  Lately, also in a weekend casual cover band, for lack of a better name, Dudes are Dads ...

On YouTube, at my Barnesivan8 channel, you can see QUITE primitive homemade videos of these songs; I am about the music as a singer, songwriter, guitarist plus ... still, I am trying to grow my totally raw iMovie video skills as I go. However, that is NOT where I live.  So, if you go there, close your eyes and listen, lol, view at your own risk! 

It has been a real joy to have music return these last years. I co-raised a family in the interim, so this channel started as a place to put my kids' talent shows etc., -- they still remain on the YouTube channel. We have all grown! But sometimes SC will show me all the listeners , but other times they only show me the last 2 hours and I have no idea of who listened to what , it is so annoying , and I apologise if I miss anyone out , it's not deliberate , I value every single one of my listeners ! Self confessed Music Addict ! I write and play/vocalise everything myself whether it be real or synthetic . We are two old friends from KY. Posting songs we recorded many years ago on Tascam cassette recorders...and starting to get together to write and record again on a Tasccam DP24 when our dad schedules allow...hopefully we'll have some new ones to post soon.
