**I NEVER USE A.I. IN ANY OF MY SONGS OR VIDEOS!** Hi everybody, my name is Jim and I’m a songwriter, I've written over 300 songs, I play guitar, bass, piano, and am an okay lyricist.  I play all types of music and have my own recording studio.  I use no A.I. or DAW or any computers to make my songs or my videos, all the instruments are played by me live on a multitrack studio recorder and Charlie, my vocalist, sings most of my songs and also plays the Harmonica on several tracks. I use video clips from Motion Array or Pexals or Pixabay for my videos. I'm not a pro or a great musician but I do what I can with the tools that I have! I belong to the "Keep Humans In Music Movement" (KHMM)! We're NOT perfect but we're REAL! Thanks everyone for listening and the world needs more music now, real music made by HUMANS not MACHINES! An electronic musician and guitarist who especially likes the more nostalgic sounds of the 80s. Composing and producing is my favourite hobby. Thank you to everyone who listens to my music.

I learned my first guitar chords as a teenager in the 90s, that's when I also composed my first songs. Since then, songwriting has been my passion.  In the 90s, my friends and I also founded a band that worked for about 10 years. After the band ended, I wrote songs in a desk drawer and dreamed of a home studio. I also learned to play a little piano. Since 2016, I've been slowly learning to produce music in a DAW environment, first with Garegeband and later with Logic Pro X. In the last couple of years, I've learned more about composing and arranging than in the previous several years, but it feels like the journey is just beginning. Thanks to everyone who has read this far.

Welcome back to my page. After a week of 'technical issues', I'm back in my Producer role.  Hope you all have had a wonderful time while I was away... but I'm back so lets get this show on the road!!

Music is a great unifier.  Through music, we bridge the gap between race, gender, age, etc., to raise our unified voice, the voice of the human race.  I am thankful for making friends from around the world through music, and I thank these friends for embracing me as I am.  We can't allow people to suffer oppression based on differences.  Instead, we should leverage our differences to make the world stronger and better, and build each other up instead of tearing each other down.  We are one people.  Love, not hate, is the answer.

Thanks for stopping by my page!  I compose music for all types of media in multiple genres, but favor cinematic orchestral or orchestral-synth hybrids with a strong melody.  I'm currently furthering my skills at Berklee College of Music Online, scored the end credits for the Indie film short "Sides," have music available in various film libraries, and have won awards in several film scoring contests, most notably the "Emerging Composer Diversity Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music Composition" in the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Competition 2018.
