Zemar Kambas, hailing from Hungary, delivers a classy dub techno release with Echoed Journeys. The label’s 132nd entry in the Mood Series features four finely crafted tracks, balancing dancefloor energy with deep, introspective vibes. True to the series’ reputation, this gives us more of what we love about it.
'Echoes Of The Rail' opens the EP with crisp production and a compelling blend of dense, spacey atmospheres and evolving chords. Its catchy yet nuanced rhythm makes it equally suitable for the dancefloor or a solitary, heady listen. The track strikes a perfect balance, setting a high standard for what’s to come. 'Escape From The Forest' shifts gears slightly, with an island-inspired dub groove. Its deep rolling bass and addictive melodic work create an uptempo, bouncy rhythm that feels uplifting yet grounded in Kambas’s signature deepness. 'Cold Sun Walk' slows the pace just enough to accentuate the weight of its delayed chords and metallic percussion. The bassline digs deeper here, creating a hypnotic atmosphere drenched in echo and reverb, perfect for reflective deeper moments on the dancefloor. A heavyweight lineup of dub techno talent comes together for a deep and textured journey. Krystian Shek's Promise features two original productions from himself alongside with reworks from Yagya and grad_u. As a bonus, this collection expands even further with digital-exclusive remixes from Raytek and Noosa Sound System that come with the original purchase. Milly James returns to the label, lending her amazing voice to a release that bridges atmospheric depth with driving rhythm.
'Glow & Shine' locks into a hypnotic groove from the outset, its analog warmth and weighty percussion forming a solid foundation. A crisp snare and hi-hat pattern provide an irresistible swing, while chords and vocals land together in perfect sync, draped in a rich layer of delay. Spacey breakdowns allow the ride cymbal to subtly emerge, giving the track an evolving energy. The closing moments strip things back, with the chords guiding everything to a natural finish. 'Better That Way' shifts into a more melodic space, balancing intricate drum programming with an emotive vocal delivery. The initial rhythmic stutter adds a unique touch before settling into a flowing beat. As layers build, the chords and voice intertwine seamlessly, evoking a deep, contemplative feel. The breakdown smooths everything out, allowing the track to breathe before a striking bassline shift in the final section brings fresh momentum. The last ambient passage is particularly stunning, offering a moment of reflection.
The legendary Icelandic producer Yagya creates his interpretation of 'Glow & Shine' sees it drifting into dreamlike territory, wrapping the original’s elements in a lush, aquatic atmosphere. More of a song than a club tool, it glides effortlessly, capturing a serene, almost weightless mood. On the flip side, grad_u reshapes 'Better That Way' into a crisp, rolling dub excursion. Airy chords swirl above a commanding groove, with well-placed melodic flourishes adding an elegant touch. The arrangement continuously morphs, deepening its hypnotic pull.
Raytek’s remix of 'Glow & Shine' injects a sharper rhythmic intensity, pushing the track into darker, more driving territory. The vocal treatment becomes a focal point, cleverly reshaped to make the singing the true hook. Meanwhile, Noosa Sound System takes 'Better That Way' into stripped-down, immersive terrain. The off-kilter drum work and layered percussion create a mesmerizing flow, while the winding structure makes it a DJ-friendly tool.
This well-rounded collection that explores multiple shades of dub techno, this release has both dancefloor energy and introspective depth. With a strong roster of contributors, it delivers a blend of classic textures and fresh perspectives.

Biography: 
Victor Lopez he was Born in Spain 1977, with almost 30 years of experience as a DJ, his sessions can range from soul and classic funk to house and deep-minimal, without forgetting styles such as balearic downtempo, bossa nova and dub. , especially dub-techno, a style that motivated him a little over 10 years ago to enter musical production, setting his objectives on the creation of a personal approach within the style.

Biography: 
ENERCUBE — a sonic alchemist from Siberia. Oleg Nabivachev, better known as ENERCUBE, is a sound producer and master of subtle sonic states, originally from Biryuch. His music is not just techno — it’s an inward journey. A language spoken in silence. An energetic architecture, where every chord is not an accident, but a structural element of the inner world.

ENERCUBE is the co-creator of Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer, a project born in deep synergy with his brother, X_FR. Together, they turn sound into landscape and rhythm into space. Their music feels like Siberia itself — raw, spacious, and full of meaning. And yet, beneath its frosty surface, there’s always a quiet warmth.

His tracks reveal mathematical precision, a craftsman’s attention to detail, and a respectful dialogue with silence. ENERCUBE’s production feels like nature’s breath slowed down — translated into a form that resonates with the urban soul. It’s not music for dancefloors alone; it’s music for inner horizons. What happens when the spirit of Tokyo meets the raw, grey edges of Novosibirsk?
You get Artworker EP by Tsubasa Arakawa (@tsubasa-arakawa) — a sound architect balancing on the edge of digital utopia and industrial dream. When the last worker leaves the factory, only noise remains in the empty halls. And shadows. Tsubasa Arakawa recorded them. Artworker EP is a chronicle of silence after the process. It’s what happens when the machines fall asleep, and sound stays awake.

Nine chapters of a technical symphony, written in the code of dub mechanics.

::: "Artworker" – an act of creation, a mechanical poem where each sample is calibrated. A chronicle of silence after the process. The sound that remains when the machines shut down.
::: "Kizlyar" – a hypnotic waltz with echoes from the Caucasus, through fog and bass catacombs. A distant junction at the edge of time, where rhythm glides down a dusty road into memory.
::: "Polivoks M" – the synthesizer as narrator, speaking through distortion of an era when technology was analog and emotion direct. Synthesized nostalgia pulsing through old hardware.
::: "Labor Union" – a rhythmic solidarity march, a post-industrial anthem for a city that no longer exists. A sonic poster made of synths and echo, transmitting unity wave by wave.

The remixes? They are alternative edits. Parallel stories.

::: Deepdrome (@deepdrome) lends Polivoks M a chilling gravity and acidic groove — thoughts melt, the subconscious downloads.

Artworker EP is an engineering album about building worlds from sound. About creating bridges between nations, languages, and vibrations.
