I am a composer that is classically trained with broad interest and experience in world musics. MM New England Conservatory '86, BM University of Massachusetts at Amherst '76.

My compositions have won awards from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, New England Reed Trio International Chamber Music Composition Competition, a Bryant Fellowship from Harvard University, and a certificate from the 21st Century Music Project Competition of the the International Center for Japanese Culture in Yokohama, Japan. My works have been performed across the United States, Europe and Japan.

As a composer, I am interested in considering commissions and collaborations. Performing scores and parts are available to all my works here on SoundCloud through Universal Edition, J. W. Pepper Music, Frank Warren Music Service, or by contacting me.

Music is a great unifier.  Through music, we bridge the gap between race, gender, age, etc., to raise our unified voice, the voice of the human race.  I am thankful for making friends from around the world through music, and I thank these friends for embracing me as I am.  We can't allow people to suffer oppression based on differences.  Instead, we should leverage our differences to make the world stronger and better, and build each other up instead of tearing each other down.  We are one people.  Love, not hate, is the answer.

Thanks for stopping by my page!  I compose music for all types of media in multiple genres, but favor cinematic orchestral or orchestral-synth hybrids with a strong melody.  I'm currently furthering my skills at Berklee College of Music Online, scored the end credits for the Indie film short "Sides," have music available in various film libraries, and have won awards in several film scoring contests, most notably the "Emerging Composer Diversity Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music Composition" in the Marvin Hamlisch Film Scoring Competition 2018. I am a father of three beautiful sons. Being father is the most beautiful "job"! Originally I am a trumpetplayer from my 10th, playing light music in several bands. Since three years I'm playing piano, in a classical way. Since my divorce ten years ago I had some issues: the divorce and six years ago Multiple Myeloom (MM). The last "thing" made me jobless. I was a good trafficengineer. Now I found my love in classical pianoplaying. Sometimes/mostly as a therapy. Now the cancer seemed to be stable. In any way I am not afraid of death anymore. Therefor, making music is the best thing to get! I hope my audience loves my music! That's my only goal: to make people happy! Every comment is welcome (except shouting)!!
